Too Early 2016 Prospect Watch

992 posts in this topic

yeah i think bosa would have to have a disastrous season to fall anywhere out of the top 5. im more trying to discuss possible targets for us, thats why i posted a link to a guy projected right now to go late first early second. another sneaky need for us i think may be OL, we could really be looking into getting a LT or maybe even get a steal in the interior. im still torn as to whether mosley or zack martin wouldve been a better pick had he been there, not familiar with the 2016 linemen but i think ill have to look into it

Much will hinge on how we perform without Kubiak. There is an unanswered question and it's answer is whether or not Kubiak or Castillo take credit for the improved OL and if it'll continue. I'm sure most expected us to keep Torrey last year but he's gone.

I can't believe nobody mentioned my boy Myles Jack from UCLA. I love that guy. I'm really excited to see him this year and I'm hoping for a good year but not too good because I want him be a Raven. I love the way he plays.

Laquon Treadwell From old miss 6'2 230 and Tyler Boyd 6'2 190 From Pittsburgh.

They won't get a crack at Treadwill, as of right now, but Tyler Boyd is a good pick.

Myles Jack is freaking awesome, maybe the best LB I have ever seen in coverage. He can run and hit too, and run the ball lol. I'll bet he is a top 10 pick though.

Yeah man I love watching him play. I think he'll be a deadly OLB. I really really want him for this team. He's a little short but he looks terrific.

From Nebraska, the best player is likely to be DT Maliek Collins.  He would have to declare early though, as he is a junior.

Are you a Husker fan Crush? Another guy I'm looking forward to is Jordan Westerkamp, he played a big role last year on their offense.

Oh nice, I have a friend that plays for UNL. Hopefully he'll get some playing time this year with the new coaching staff.

Luke McNitt, his position is TE, but he could be used as a H-back with the new system.

Gotcha.  Will be interesting to see how TE is used this year.

My Favorite are Eric Striker OLB and Josh Doctson WR

I was just going to say Eric Striker is another very interesting guy at OLB. I remember that bowl game against Alabama 2 years ago where he just dominated.

Deon Bush out of Miami could be an intriguing option. He needs a big year to be considered a 1st round pick. Was injured his sophomore year, but he returned to form his junior year. He's got the size and range you look for in a FS. I highly doubt Jalen Ramsey from FSU will be an option by the time we pick in the 1st round, so that's why I bring up Bush.

Also like Bosa from OSU, but he's gonna be the 1st pick in the entire draft next year. Tyler Boyd, WR from Pitt, is a stud. Kendall Fuller from VT is another guy. Stacy Coley, WR from Miami, needs a big year, but he's got natural WR skills. Very fluid runner who looks like he's gliding down the field. Natural change of direction ability. Needs to bulk up a little. Doesn't do well with contact, but the guy is a natural. Like with Dorsett, is being totally misused at Miami. Thank you, Al Golden. Anyway, best WR prospect to come out of high school in South Florida in a while (at least in my opinion), which is saying a lot. Best WR prospect Miami has had since Andre Johnson, again in my opinion.

Since you brought up Bush I really would love to have Mills from LSU. I see a lot of great skills on him as a FS.

Unfortunately to get Bosa we would have to suck. Dude is a freak

Nah, the roster would have to consist of us forum members.

Sign me up as a punter. Not sure what would I average but I can definitely run the clock down in our end zone for safety. Few seconds or until I get too scared - which ever comes first.

Sign me up to play safety. I think I can be about as good as... well, you all know.

Le'Raven Clark, OT/OG, Texas Tech...for an obvious reason...

That we draft an OL player every year? :P
