Just went to update the big board and at first glance it looked like berad's pick was entered in.  Super short username and super short player name

Yep.

It's one of the things I don;t really like about this game. Ah well, I guess they're wrong as often as they're right so it does make things look more interesting with hindsight.

I thought Aaron would slide for some reason

I didn't think he would go this high, but I also knew there was a 0% chance of him getting to my 2nd round selection.

I don't know if "slide" is the right word to describe where i thought he'd go, i think there are at least 3 guys that should've gone before him there but i can't say who obviously

Well, to win in the NFL you need a quarterback and the ability to take out opposing quarterbacks. Donald could possible be the best interior pass rusher in the league this coming season.

lot of hate for my robert quinn pick, is he not simply one of the overall best defenders in the entire league at possibly the most valued position on defense? surprised by the negs on that

I could list maybe 7 defenders I'd take over him

Yeah Quinn was good but he wasn't the player he was in 2013. A bit early on Donald as well although he is a favorite of mine. Some good QBs slipping

I think it is because he went at #17 last year after his 19 sack season and wasn't as good in 2014 as he was in 2013.  I didn't expect to see him move up in the draft.

if you wouldnt mind, id like to see that list, and jj watt is unavailable in this scenario.

JJ Watt is probably the only defensive player I'd be willing to take in the top 10.

well if he went 17th after the season he had then there must have been some huge reaches, kinda like im seeing now. some folks looking to just take whatever qb is there rather than get the true value

Major reaches so far imo are Quinn and Winston.

Best values Roethlisberger and Brees.

When it comes to Brees, it depends on how you're picking. He'd be low on the list if you wanted a franchise quarterback due to his age. He's only got maybe two years left in him.

He could still have 3-4 years left, and he is considerably better than most other QBs in the NFL. It's hard for me to understand why he was allowed to fall this far.

Agreed. Brees was a steal. Still has 2-3 years of good football left. Roethlisberger is pretty good too. But what will be interesting to watch is the QB slide. Will someone bite on the old guys? Or go with young blooded defenders?

Jordan Phillips will dominate this rookie class and Malcom Brown will be a bust.

on the topic of brees, ill be honest, he did not even cross my mind. i felt pretty stupid after seeing him go like 2 picks later, im still ok with my quinn pick though, you win in the trenches, defense wins championships, and pass rush is vital. im old school mayne

How is he a bust? Guy was a 6th rounder and made 2 plays that Seahawk fans will never forget(in a good way). That is worth a 6th rounder anyday in my book :P

Interesting. Looks like you and I have 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 rated the same.

Great minds think alike then. Lol. I have Brees at 9.

It was just an Oklahoma-Texas thing to see if it would wake ravensnick up. And I actually meant Brown - long morning and I haven't eaten yet.

Aaron has the potential to be one of the most dominant defensive players of the next decade. I'd say he's the Andrew Luck of defense right now lol. It's a big risk early but can't blame him
