Gotta protect my "fantastic" duo of QBs somehow...

I think you should get a 3rd one, I have one in mind that would fit right in there !

I was wondering when Diggs would be drafted.  I've had him at the top of my wish list for sometime now, but other needs have prevailed.  Diggs is having an excellent training camp and he also had very good OTA's and minicamp.

Hoping he has an excellent career, except when he plays us :)  Very Nice Pick.

Thanks! Teddy seems to like him as well.

Don't talk about my QB like that

Sorry. I promise I'll ask for permission next time.

And I meant Theodore.

Reports have been positive for Mcdougle making a comeback this year. It's likely he sees a lot of time with the jets this year. He's my 5thcorner. He could make an impact against smaller receivers.

Greg Cossell singled Bromley out as "an athletic kid" who could have a big impact this year. The Giants have a knack similar to the Ravens for drafting defensive lineman. Why not add more depth to the defensive front.

I've been pretty risk-averse throughout this draft, but at this juncture I am taking talent and upside. My last few picks all come with significant risk, and could end up being  completely useless. However, I have always liked the Ifo Ekpre-Olomu. I think he can be a very good CB once he gets healthy. Duron Carter has tons of talent if he can get his head on straight and play more consistently. Red Bryant has been a top end run defender in the NFL for a long time. He's not so old yet, and a few teams could certainly use his services.

Good pick in Bryant. He's been on my list for about 10 rounds or so but I couldn't take the risk given that I have three currently unsigned players. Went with Morgan Moses here after some hard deliberation. Moses is currently pegged as the Redskins starting RT after a strong offseason. He even held off Brandon Scherff and force him to move inside to RG, where he should've been in the first place in my eyes. I thought very highly of Morgan's tape and was surprised that he was as disappointing last season. If he makes good on his talent, I think he'll be a solid starter and could push for a starting spot on my team as well. Also allows me to move Chris Hairston around.

I am going with Richards here. I got him as an UDFA in the Mock, then he went in the 2nd round. He is having a very good camp and I like his Intelligence. He is an underrated Cover Safety in my opinion and will be a very good backup at SS behind Blanton for me.

Ps: I know I am making myself very unpopular with taking another Patriot, but I can live with that, all the Ravens are gone sadly

Hoyer is the 41st QB off the board, so I feel like this is very good value here.  He is everything I was looking for in a backup: veteran, starting experience and knows the Patriots system.

Thanks, I've had him on my shortlist for a while, but his skillset fits what I needed. I was thinking about Moses too before I took Erving. I liked him a lot coming out of Virginia. He needs to clean up his technique, but the upside is there.

Definitely good value at this point. I would be very surprised if he didn't find a home at some point during the season. From what I recall, you're also running the 4-3 Under so he'll fit it to the tee. I definitely do remember that. I believe he was one of your selections in a prior FM. Agreed there on the latter for sure.

I thought about Bryant heavily for several rounds now, but I was only going to take him if Pitoitua came off of the board at some point before I wanted to make the move for one of them.  If Bryant was on a team, he would have been my pick, but I opted to go the safer route in a run stuffer with Pitoitua.

Kline played well last year as an occasional starter at left and right guard for the Patriots.

BmoreBird's first pick was skipped btw, so he has 1 skip on his record now.

Agree, very good pick in Red Bryant.

Also agree the Morgan Moses pick is a good pick as he could be the starting RT this season.  I don't know if he held Brandon Scherff back or if it was the case of just getting the two best players out on the field AND I always thought Scherff would be a much better RG than RT.  Moses has had an excellent training camp according to reports coming out of Skins camp. Spencer Long is the odd man out.

and here he is, Adrian Amos, he can play CB/NB/FS, he will get a lot of chances with the Bears. He needs to work a little on his tackling, but I think he will do just fine.

I'm a fan of the Amos selection. Taking another risk here with drafting another currently unsigned player, but given that we're no longer competing for selections among 31 other teams, I'm comfortable rolling the dice on Geno Hayes. He's insisted that his knees aren't an issue, and while there's certainly a chance that he doesn't see the field again, he's a day shy of turning just 28 so time is still on his side. If his head is in the right place, he could very well find his way onto a roster. Given how well he played last season, he'd make for a fine reserve.

but a very good risk at this point in the draft.  He would be a very nice get if he does get signed.

Thank you, my good sir. I agree.

Bummed to see Amos go. He was on my shortlist of players, but Lowery will suffice as depth at the safety position for me. He's proven to be a solid starter so I'm happy to bring him in at this point.
