He played in the original version (2013)

I could have sworn he was in last year too.

I was at the bottom last year... Had a really boom or bust team, if I remember.

I'm a little surprised by Campbell pick but I like it very much.

He's big on the boards here.. Happens every year

I see Ken Winnibago got cut today. No doubt that's why he's in a freefall right now.

Very, very surprised that a this certain player hasnt been taken.

I hope it's not the player I'm thinking of. There were four guys I really wanted but passed on for Duke, but one of them is a tier above the rest.

Somehow I knew who ravensdan was going to pick.

Haha. I know. No QBs on the board and as everyone knows Campbell is one of my favorite players. He's been my first defender taken in all three franchise games plus the cards this year in the mock offseason. Most disruptive interior player outside of Watt over the past several years and still under 30.

No, I don't know that, but that's not what I was saying. I'd actually be highly surprised if they came from staring down receivers. Luck is one of the best at working through his progressions, keeping his eyes down the field, and getting the ball around. I wouldn't be surprised if they came from forcing passes in some situations. He does have a tendency to try to do too much at times. The point I was trying to make is that 24 turnovers isn't just 24 turnovers. It's somewhere in the middle because a receiver can bobble a pass or run the wrong route (Tandon Doss vs Carolina?). The fumbles don't surprise me because, again, Luck is the most hit and sacked quarterback in the league.

We don't actually know how good T.Y. Hilton or Dwayne Allen are without Luck, not that Allen is much of a volume receiver. I keep trying to hammer this point home, but they were ROOKIES together, so their development was directly tied to Luck. We may get to see how T.Y. Hilton performs next year without Luck because the Colts are certainly loading up on receivers like they'll lose him. But it's probably much like what's probably going to happen with Julius Thomas now that he's not with Peyton Manning. It wasn't until Sanders got with Manning that he really exploded, so again, it's possible that Hilton just drops off.

A.Q. didn't play all that often for them. I'm not sure how he played last year for the Colts, but I remember when they had Hugh Thornton, Samson Satele, and a revolving door at RG. You wanna talk about a group of players that should not be playing at all? That would be the Colts 2013 interior offensive line. I think the Colts interior offensive line in 2013 was far worse than that of the Ravens, which I know is hard to believe, but it was that bad. And at least the Ravens got really high play out of Yanda and Monroe.

I think of Arians and Cam as being similar in the sense that they're good teachers of the games and can help a young guy, but they're not someone I'd want to be the longterm solution at the offensive coordinator position. I think Arians is definitely a very good offensive mind and a very good teacher, but again, he's like Cameron in that he'll limit your growth. I hadn't heard much discussion about Ben in the HoF before he's exploded recently with Hailey.

I just think given the circumstances that Luck is top 5 for me, but then again, I'm also not the biggest fan of Brady and that affects it, but I just really like Luck, a lot.

Well if you don't know what happened on his INTs, it is kinda hard to say they are due to his WRs like you were saying earlier. I agree, not all INTs are on a QB but 16 of them is a lot and 8 fumbles is something he needs to improve on. I am not buying the O-line being that bad either, they were 21st in pass blocking by PFF and the Patriots and Chargers arguably had worse units, the Chargers a much worse unit with all the injuries they had at Center. They aren't a great unit but they aren't all that bad.

We will have to see how they all do without Luck though, Hilton could just be that good a WR. Also there are other QBs where this applies to. It is great that Luck can work guys up at his current age but he isn't the only guy who has worked guys up and again I am not using age as a factor in how Luck is doing compared to the top tier QBs right now.

Gino was the worst Center in the league and A.Q. was completely overmatched at Guard, no one on the Colts was worse, they were bad in 2013 but not near that level. Also didn't Mewhort and Castonzo do pretty well this year? I am not buying them being 2013 bad. Also Yanda didn't do as well in 2013 as he usually did, not to mention Oher falling off a cliff and Big Mac starting at LT for us, Monroe was good when he got here but that wasn't until halfway through the season that he actually started.

Arians was only around for Luck's rookie year, Cameron actually wasn't too bad at OC in 2008 with all the trick plays that he did(Flacco almost getting that receiving TD?), his problem like you said was not giving Flacco the reins on offense. If they are both similar, I don't see that as being a problem with a rookie QB.

I would put Brady over Luck, his interior O-line was just as bad as what Luck had if not worse and he had to get by in the playoffs with essentially no running game against us. I know our secondary was awful but that was impressive, not to mention putting up all those points on the legion of boom in the super bowl. That is probably the easiest choice outside of Rodgers for who I would have over Luck right now not taking certain deflation issues into account.

Not this year. I'm more than happy playing the role I have. My summer classes look like they'll be rough. Speaking of which...
