That's funny to you? Wilson is great at scrambling and making stuff happen outside of pocket. In the pocket he is not a good QB. He misses so many plays because he doesn't see the field well and looks to scramble instead of going through progressions.

Ryan is great in the pocket, but can do little oitside of it. His arm isn't amazing but he makes the necessary throws. His biggest issue is that he needs great protection to be at his best, not unlike Flacco in many ways.

Bottomline is this, in a good offense with quality OL and receivers, Ryan will do more to help your team wim than Wilson.

Hmmm.........yeah. Kiss Russell Wilsons Super Bowl ring.

Mostly, Wilson is just overrated as a QB. He is a limited player based off what he has shown so far in his NFL career. He makes plays with his feet, but is very dependent on a run game for the offense to work. He hasn't shown that he can consistently win as a pocket QB.

True, he hasn't completely, but I plan to shape the offense around him, playing by his rules, using his strengths. He is also a winner. The kid is clutch. So many more intangibles with Wilson than Ryan...

I'm not sure I'd entirely agree with that, but that's just me.

1-4 in postseason games over 6-2 and a superbowl ring? lol ok

I understand. Our definition of clutch is skewed because Flacco turns into superman in January. He is the ultimate definition of clutch. Russell Wilson my not be perfect like Flacco, but he is a proven winner. He wins the big games...that's my definition of clutch. I could honestly come up with a list of 5 good QB's who don't keep a cool head in big games. Wilson keeps his chill and usually comes out on top. I like that Edited by regz1997

One has the Legion of Boom and the best RB in the NFL(unless AP gets his form back), the other has a [profanity deleted] defense and no line or running game to go off of. I don't think Ryan is great in the postseason and it went back to college as well but the guy is a good QB

robert quinn is one :D lol just saying that cuz im getting heat for taking him there, oh well. by the way, i hate you.

Quinn's a top player as far as I'm concerned and I have no issue with how early he went. Can't have 19 sacks every season.

I don't understand the hate though. Did I do something :P ?

I would agree with you. But in my opinion, I'll take a proven postseason winner like Wilson or Flacco over a mid season wonder guy

Yeah it is kinda fun nitpicking everyone's picks and not having to worry about my own picks.

I've been waiting for Rivers to go, nice value pick

Yeah, he's one of the three guys I had a clear tier above everyone else. $50 says one of the other two gets taken with the next pick.

I know I'm not supposed to talk about guys still on the board, but man, someone is going to get lucky when they pick Kyle Boller.

Okay yes the Green Bay game was rough. Very rough. But the Super Bowl was not his fault. That pass was perfectly thrown, and that was a good read. At the moment he threw that ball, Lockette was wide open. That was just a ridiculous break on the ball by that rookie corner (his name escapes me)... I would not make that loss his fault. That one is on the coaching staff, plus just a damn good job by the CB.

But don't you miss that fear making you feel alive though? Just like a retired player who can't watch a game without wishing he could still be amongst it all. ;)

Haha I'm quite okay with it actually.  If I was out on the forum mock, it would be a different story.

I've been talking about Kevin all season and offseason. It's going to be nice having people understand what I mean again.

These discussion threads can be quite a bit of fun, just don't have the time to be in it this year though :( Maybe in the fall if we do an All Time NFL DAF, could do so much with that.
