[News] Ravens, Eagles To Hold Joint Training Camp Practices

22 posts in this topic

I had thought joint practices with the Redskins but Eagles works also. I like the idea and if Harbs thinks it benefits the team, I'm all the more for it.

It would IMHO make more sense to stay on the East Coast between the Broncos and Raiders games in Weeks 1&2, because we also have a road game in Atlanta Week#4 of the pre season - so, instead of 3 separate travels it would only be two.

I like the joint practices. Real competition between 2 teams and not just inner-team competition helps players grow more I.M.H.O. they get to see more players in action and compete against guys they usually dont get to compete against except on game day.

Should be a fun one to watch. It's a good thing for the d-line with Demarco Murray running against them.

Hey, bio, I think you meant to say "stay on the WEST Coast".

I wonder if the Eagles will paint the Ravens logo on their second practice field like we did for the 49'ers.

Sleep-study doctors and timezone doctors. Plus they apparently have statisticians who calculate added win % when attempting to convert a 4th down (they called upon them in the Dolphins game). Our coaching staff is remarkably diverse. ...and Chip Kelly thinks he's cutting edge, hah.

I like this, anything to help the players gel and get better is always a big step, when we did this last year, we were one game away from the Super Bowl, hopefully these practices with Eagles will take us a step further this year. Gonna be fun reading about those practices.

I will love watching Brandon Williams battle Carl Davis for the NT spot. We have serious depth on defense. This D has so much potential. Possibly the best since 2000.

Roger Staubach?

I think he's talking current.  Which I agree...  Apparently been working on his throw and release.  Should be interesting to watch.

Yeah if we can keep our secondary healthy?

And Happy Mother's Day. I think that was a one hit wonder last year with DB's. I mean I surely hope it was.
