That is pretty shocking. Even for Jets.

I had to look twice at the story - was sure it was from the Onion or something. Crazy stuff.

That was me as well.  Still sucks to have your jaw broken in two places.

Apparently though this isn't the first time Enemkpali has punched someone out:  From http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000508631/article/geno-smith-out-610-weeks-after-being-punched-in-jaw

He was suspended from the Louisiana Tech team in 2011 following an arrest for punching an off-duty police officer.

Boomer Esiason on NFLN putting the blame squarely on Geno, saying he finally antagonized the wrong guy, again calling his maturity into question (Bowles said it was something 6th graders could have ironed out), and saying he's not surprised at all, the only thing surprising is that Geno's still in a Jets jersey.

Wow. Really harsh words for a kid when he's down. Keep piling on, Boomer, way to go. <sarcasm> SMDH.

How awful for Geno. If someone on the team did that to Flacco they probably wouldn't even leave the locker room alive,

If a childish fight like that occurred in our locker room, I would be upset. Leave that stuff on the field and if you can't then get yourself some counseling.

Boomer was "kind" compared to Chris Carter: http://usat.ly/1DKSj7R

Boomer would say that. He's always been a bully.

If this was Brady, the perpetrator would have gotten a life sentence without parole.

Something to keep an eye on but Redskins TE Niles Paul left tonight's preseason game with a leg injury after being rolled up on by Browns LB Craig Robertson.

Update: NFL.com reports Niles left the game with a dislocated ankle and team is waiting for the MRI to see if ligaments are intact.

Redskins did not play Jordan Reed or Logan Paulsen tonight. It is interesting to note Paulsen is dealing with a toe injury that could require surgery. Redskins looking thin at TE, and it's only week one of the preseason.

It was a bad injury unfortunately - fractured ankle, out for the season. Ankle was dislocated too, bound to be some serious ligament damage.

I'm afraid I've got some MORE bad news for the Redskins. Their depth at TE is pretty much gone. TE Logan Paulsen has been ruled out and will have surgery on his big right toe this week. Oh and on top of that, Jordan Reed is dealing with a hamstring injury so the Redskins basically have no tight ends.

Looks to be bad news from Dolphins-Panthers joint practice - K. Benjamin and L. Delmas carted off after knee injuries. No contact involved on either one:

No word yet on Benjamin but it is a torn ACL for Delmas, the same ACL he tore before. From what I'm hearing it may end up being a torn ACL for Benjamin as well but Rivera says its a sprain.
