Ngata not practicing for the Lions b/c of hamstring issues. Deja vu'.   I remember the season he tried to play on a bad hamstring, that was probably his worst season as a Raven.

Looks like Arian Foster suffered a serious groin injury last night - will probably require surgery, but he isn't expected to miss the whole season.

Yet PFT has an article saying they want to work on a contract extension for Ngata. Going to be very interesting to see if the Lions work out a long term deal for Ngata and see how much they over pay for him when they do.

Steelers 2nd round CB rookie out for at least 2months. Need surgery on shoulder.

That is big news, because IMHO their secondary is questionable to begin with.

Was that the real short guy that some Steelers fans were saying he would shutdown perriman? Definitely a 180 for the Steelers going from a solid defense and so so offense to a solid offense and defense with opportunities shall I say

Steelers could be looking at another big question mark, this time on Special Teams. Mike Tomlin has said that Kicker Shaun Suisham has a "potentially significant" knee injury that he suffered on the second half kickoff. He tackled a Vikings player and suffered the injury going to the ground.

Maybe a torn ACL here? Considering he's the only Kicker on the roster, it is going to be slim pickings in FA getting a replacement. I hear Billy Cundiff is available :)

I saw the play last night, it looked like his knee got  hyper extended when they showed it on slow motion. The commentators immediately after the play said it was bad. Hopefully, it is not as bad as initially reported.

Yeah, but they immediately made a pretty good trade with the Eagles for a decent CB. They picked up Brandon Boykin, who I think has good potential, for a fifth round draft pick.

I had to quote a post from the FA thread because of this report. So when Browns fan comes back on here, he knows who to blame if Thomas misses games.  :P

Posting this here since it's not worth a new thread and nothing else really fits, but damn, is this impressive...

Have Tweeted before, but worth mentioning w/football back: Browns OT Joe Thomas has played every single snap in his career: 8,196 & counting

The Browns got quite a scare in Monday morning’s practice when Pro Bowl left tackle Joe Thomas got rolled up on, screamed and spent several minutes getting his knee examined by trainers.

Thomas eventually walked from the sideline into the team’s training facility on his own and without a limp, according to tweets from several beat writers who were watching closely.

It sucks for the Steelers that they will have to wait for cuts to bring in the best available kicker to build chemistry with the team.

Ill respectfully disagree. I think its wonderful….not the injury, just that i have no sympathy for that team.

Classless

Jets quarterback Geno Smith has been injured in a fight in the team’s locker room and will likely miss the start of the regular season.

In a stunning announcement today, Jets coach Todd Bowles said that Smith suffered a broken jaw when he was “sucker punched” by Jets linebacker IK Enemkpali. The Jets have cut Enemkpali as a result.

Smith is expected to miss 6-10 weeks. The Jets’ opener is less than five weeks away, so Smith will almost certainly miss some time to start the regular season.

That's too funny.
