I think we will find a few gems out of this group, really liking Wilson, DePriest, Worthy, and Clausell, those guys came from big time programs, and have played in big games....Except Worthy, but i saw him beast it against W.V....

love to see that Magee was awarded the #18 for being the senior that most embodied what it meant to be an LSU Tiger on and off the field. Forsett would be a great mentor since they are both high character guys and have similar builds/running styles.

With the line up we have, it will be a tough decision cutting players. We're stacked. I hope that Wilson and Perry stick and help us. It's going to be a tremendous training camp.

I think keeping Baldwin, a tackle from Ohio State, would be a must. He was the anchor on the right side on for 3 different QBs and a fantastic running game that won the first NCAA Championship game. He'd be a great back up for Wagner and we could cut Reid.

DePriest and Nick Perry have a real chance at making the roster imo.

I would throw in JULIAN WILSON the way Ravens keep losing DB's New ENgland tried him out.

Ozzie finds one every year, so I wonder who this year's will be. We had Dannell Ellerbe, Marlon Brown, and Bobby Rainey (who went on to great things in Tampa). So at least one of these guys should turn out to be very good.

Darius Allen sounds like a monster. Check his stats, 34 sacks in 43 games. Yes, he's a small school guy, but if he can gives us half of that he has a chance to make the team. Perry has a chance too, with our Safety situation and Brooks on the PUP to start the season. With our draft class and most of our role players returning, there might not be any spots available. But you never know.

I look at this list, and tell myself, this could be a heck of draft, if these guys were drafted....:)

Let's hope it isn't the DBs again this year!

Thrilled to see them in the nest!

I wonder who breaks out? C'mon, coaches,... give these guys a good "going-over" so that we don't release another James Harrison,... another DPOY or HOF Oh guy!!!  :oldwiseman:

Liking Nick Perry and Julian Wilson so far. Especially Wilson as a developmental prospect. More depth for that secondary that needed it last season.

this could be our best group of ufa's that we have had. i see at least 6-8 guys on this list with the potential to make it very hard for the coaches when cut days come. good luck to all of them

Clausell seems like an interesting player. Another Hurst?

Manton could maybe give Koch a run for his money.

Also Cam Worthy seemed to have only improved as his college career went on.

I like the idea of bringing a dominant, small school guy like Darius Allen in. Some people just don't blossom in high school so they don't get recruited by big time schools. Doesn't mean they don't have talent. Also like the Julian Wilson pickup

sucks about wilson. hopefully he will have a chance down the road to show what he can do when the doctors clear him. i am looking forward to see what wr deandre carter can do. could get a shot to be our return guy and see some reps at receiver. some of these lb's and lineman could push for a roster spot as well

Did you notice how many linemen are on the list?. Clausell, Baldwin, Easton ("Haaarrvrd"),Wesley and Johnson.  It Prooves  to me  the frquency of injuries are in the trenches and I guareentee that at least one of these guys is kept on the 53 squad.   Two wide recievers for insurance in case one of our primary guys gets injured prior to opening day. A punter for the practice squad. I think the two Alabama guys DePriest- ILB and Perry -Safety will recieve the best chances of securing a practice squad spot.

Shame about Wilson  That's bad luck and he is a seconday player!   Both Fowler of the Jaguars and Wilson were given bad fate.

The first day of minicamp rookies practice and they are gone for the year.

This sounds like a pretty exceptional group of UFAs but, of course, only time will tell. I would not be surprised if a couple of them push Hard for a roster spot, and believe that quite a few will wind up on our PS.
