I simply can't wait for some action from mini camp! The rookies are going to make the most of it I'm certain.

Film, please. Give us something to watch.

I tweeted Garrett and was pleasantly surprised to get a response from him. He says that we are in for some nice surprises they've planned for all of us. Cannot wait.

I'm ready to see some football! Buck Allen, Carl Davis, Maxx Williams and Breshad Perriman will all be contributors. But who will be the biggest out of all of those rookies??

restaurant staff across the country will be looking out for Flacco when he comes to town. I saw he dropped a $150 dip on a $208 dollar bill.

Straight BOSS!

Perriman seems to lose concentration on the 'gimme' catches. The easy ones where hes wide open. That wont be hard to fix once he gets into camp.

It's funny. I see articles like this each year and each year I don't have much interest because it includes none competitive drills and workouts. The funny thing this year is I actually care what goes on because our top 2 guys are going to be touching the ball and not defenders like it years past. Mosley running drills isn't too exciting because he isn't going to be touching the ball on many plays. Just the ball carrier. This year we all want to know how well our top picks catch and adjust to the ball coming right at them. Just a thought.

Sami, I hope the heightened stage of professional football on a given Sunday will help keep his head in the game as well. This is when those paychecks keep flowing so long as you produce. An argument could be made either way but my hope is much like yours.

Why so much excitement for Waller? I'm much, much more interested in Perriman working out.

Seriously Waller has a long road to make the team.

That should be easy to fix.  Just have Joe start throwing him passes that flop end over end instead of the pretty spirals Joe usually throws.

There is only one thing I look out for during this time. Who survives with out injury. I'm sick of the Jamal Lewis and Dennis Pitta crushing blows. How about we keep our studs out?

Anyone answer this question for me please " Does Joe Flacco participate in the Rookie Mini Camp "

@popeye the sailor man no its all rookies so more than likely lovelock would be throwing during the minicamp

Also, some of the main purposes of the rookie camp is to help acclimate them to our practice facility, team rules and practices, and find them housing. Joe doesn't need any of that.

Okay I'm not disagreeing that it is good to catch everything thrown to you as a receiver but didn't T.O. have some of the worst looking drops during his career (and a high percentage to boot). I want an explosive player that would catch 100 balls a season even if that means he drops 14 while doing so (I think that's Perriman's alleged drop percentage right?)

It would be 86 catches and 14 drops, or 100 catches and 16 drops...  But either way I'm with you 100%...

he isn't a bust in the least bit. He's just gotten the short end in my opinion. He challenged Mosley to the end for that starting job, and Mosley went on to become a pro bowl caliber player. I think that should speak to Brown's talent or at least his potential. He'll be pushed again by DePriest though. Those Bama LBs know how to ball.

No. it's a rookie camp. The Vets are all home except for Steve Smith who stuck around. Vets come the next week or so

joe throws the ball pretty hard. He'll have no choice but to concentrate if he doesn't want to hurt his hands

I think a better solution would be to have Kyle Boller throw 5-yard slants as hard as he can--you know, how he normally played.

it's tough bc I want them to go hard in practice but They also need to be careful. Jaguars just lost there number one pick donte fowler jr. For the season with an acl tear on the first day of camp. Talk about bad luck. That's one thing we don't need. Talk about a buzz kill.
