Different year same thing

OMG flacco's too low.. It amazes me how people here react the same way to the same things like clockwork

Kinda surprised to see Mosley even on the list honestly

Exactly.  People act like it's something new.  A Ravens player isn't ranked where most fans want them, they complain, no else else cares... rinse and repeat.  Mosley doesn't surprise me.  I feel any MLB that comes in with some sort of attention and performs well might get the red carpet treatment.  Would've loved to see Jimmy stay healthy to see if he would finally make the list after being cheated the year before.

Sizzle is ranked 84th. All of our guys fell in ranking. -_- No respect.

What's funny is since you mentioned his ranking I went to nfl.com. The first thing I see is Suggs ranking and the title "No Respect For The Raven?".

Both Suggs and Flacco are coming off great seasons; better seasons than either one of them had the year before and yet they are ranked way lower. It doesn't make any sense.

Ngata is ranked 92.

It's science! I mean the NFL is reporting it so it must stand up to factual scrutiny right?! Wait...

Well, we also had a year when Bernard Pollard and Jacoby Jones made it...

The year he made it he deserved it. Between returns and big plays he was key for us. It was after the SB season aka his best year with us.

Ehhh

If you're just speaking ST, you don't think he shouldn't make the list?

I just looked at his receiving numbers for the 12 season...  But I'm saying though, yea, um... Just ST...

Honestly could care less who get's ranked higher than who.. to me it's just for fun and cool to hear players talk candidly about our guys. There is no rhyme or reason to the rankings, just take it for what it is, a cool behind the scenes type look at the hottest names from the previous year.

its players voting about other players.

every player can only list their top 25 I believe and since all players don't play each other its not a surprise some players wont get a vote.

I can for instance bucs players vote for flacco but Texans players just ignore flacco due to his performance in both respective games.

I also doubt a lot of players try to get an indept analysis before voting.

i remember peyton getting voted in after missing the full season.

I don't know if this has been said already, but for those that want to see Ravens ranked well in a top 100 list, go to profootballfocus.com and check out their rankings from their grading system. There are some Ravens on there that flat out won't be on the NFLs list. I just checked it out (they have only done 100-41 so far). Here are the Ravens, their rank, and a comment made

Brandon Williams - 100 (best NT against the run)

Will Hill - 73 (6th best safety play last season)

Kelechi Osemele - 68 (4th highest graded run blocking guard)

Elivs Dumervil - 63 (third best pass rush grade from left side of all OLBs)

Pernell McPhee - 52 (4th best pass rusher of all edge rushers

Terrell Suggs - 48 (only OLB that received a 10+ grade against the run and rushing the passer)

You have to figure Forsett, Yanda, Wagner and Smith Sr make the list somewhere. So if you're looking to see Ravens represented on a top 100 list, here's the list for you.

seriously, he gets no respect.  Absolutely none and CJ Mosley being #94 while making the pro bowl as a 2nd team All Star.

Aaron Donald made the Pro Bowl and he's 2 spots ahead of Mosley. They're rookies, have do repeat what they did in '14 to be considered elite first before they make it to the top.

Instead of hating the fact that Joe Flacco is #97 on the list....just be glad that his peers voted him to be on it!  Sheesh!  Smh!

Wow, Yanda fell in ranking after the season he had...yeah, I'm done with that stupid list. :P

He's also the only guard on the list I think.

Who follows that list? Yanda no 5 in pffs top 101. Only line player in the top 10. This is a legitimate list.

He could motivate.  He could make a dead man crawl  and his fellow NFL players rank him 54. Absurd!

He is about where he needs to be considering that he cant finish a season with the same kind of production. This is not a knock mind you the guy is 35 years old playing a young mans game so all the credit in the world to him, but making a list of players that are better than Steve Smith Sr. at this point is doable, now in his prime...yeah 54 is absurd.

I don't know

If we have to rely upon Steve Smith at this juncture, it's not going to be the type of season we were hoping for.

Wish we'd seen more clips than being split between us and the Panthers. He tore up the Steelers, I'd love to see him juking around them again

Is there any one who thinks Ike Taylor is entertaining, insightful, humorous or even articulate?

I find him annoying. And the fact that for some reason he is being treated as a sort of elder statesman whose opinions are apparently elevated and validated by the NFL network is more so.

Pretty much. 'Hey, Ike, want to yammer in front of a camera for a few more hours?'
