NFL's Top 100 Players 2015

yanda did make it last year..i think pretty high too for a guard..44

Yeah I just took a look, 2013 was the year he wasn't ranked. If they don't have him on the list this year I would be furious though, guy had a spectacular season

Yanda has never made the list to my knowledge.

#55 last year

Flacco's ranking is low but I'm not going to apply logic, just happy he made it. CJ Mosley was a nice nod, too, Torrey was very effusive.

I don't think people would mistake me for a Flacco fan but concede 90 some is way too low,  after last season and the playoffs 58 may be too low.

Flacco should be high 30s minimum.

I just like the videos.  I think the the production value is decent, and the interviews are interesting.  Hearing NFL players talk about each others game.

Yeah that is a shame if true, they really underrate the guys in the trenches but I guess those guys aren't the glamour guys and it really is just a popularity contest

They only ever have like three guard/centers on the list, at all. Tackles are the glory position for the top 100

Every Flacco top 100 always starts out with some little jab of Flacco, too. He's 7 years in, dudes, get over it...

It feels like an overcorrection to last years ranking, when Joe probably shouldn't have even made it.

Next years ranking might be alot better. This might be the best offseason we had on offense since 2008. We got Trestman, who will stick to Kubiaks playbook, which Flacco & Co. should be familiar with by now, we draft a speedy WR, a really big WR, 2 TEs and a pass catching RB.

I'm really excited about our potential on offense..still concerned about our secondary (please stay healthy guys!), but can't complain that the offense didn't get any love this year.

Maybe it will be better but it will probably still start out with 'Hurrr durrr how did Joe Flacco get on the list?'

I don't think they're really saying that. It's more of a "Here's a guy most fans knock, he's low keel and sort of goofy," and they sort of talk about him nonchalantly as is his demeanor. I think it's funny.

They gave him some props this year, despite his low ranking.

He should be at least top 60 imo. Easily debatable that he should be top 30.

The first ten seconds or so are him getting sacked and dealing with a low snap, these should be basically highlights.

Maybe I'm looking at it wrong. It's MUCH better than 2014's where the first minute of his clip were a couple of Bills players saying he shouldn't be on the list at all.

I mean...they weren't wrong. lol. Can see why the Bills felt that way especially.

Yeah playing one of the worst games of your life may do that but... *sniff* that's my quarterback!

But I think I'm past the point of caring about "rankings." Rankings are for fans of QBs like Ryan, Stafford, and Romo, who have been numbers but have never accomplished anything, so the lists serve as validation.

Flacco will never rank highly in these things. Even the NFL Network article about his ranking said that these lists can't figure out his value but it doesn't matter because he is what he is: a dependable, durable franchise QB.

That doesn't make sense, nobody is going to pick 95 players before Joe Flacco. I'm curious as to what the complete list looks like.

I feel like somehow Andy Dalton is a top 50 player on that list. Just to troll us.

lol, that would be great considering he didn't even throw more than 20 TDs and had almost as many ints.

But he's a Pro Bowler! Seriously though, but Joe on that bengals team and nobody could stop them.

I can see Mosley's ranking, he played great but he did make his fair share of rookie mistakes, not a lot but they happened. Flacco's ranking though is ludicrous, this is his lowest ranking since they started making the list. They must've compiled the list before the draft but still he should have ranked higher regardless

definitive proof the pro bowl is irrelevant now - Dalton's been to two now

Just the fact that Joe and CJ made the list is impressive enough to me.  If i remember correctly they just hand out surveys and ask random players to name their top 20 or 25 players in the league, and then give the top 100 vote getters the top 100 spots.  So you could look at it from the perspective that at least someone out there thinks Joe is a good player.  Believe me, if you live inside another team's region the things said about Joe are pretty bad (although I do live in Steagles territory, so that may be why).  And CJ is an ILB, not exactly a glamour position (similar to Yanda being criminally underrated because he's a guard).

For anyone who watched the whole thing, did they give some clues like they've done in the past?

____ Linemen made the list, ____ from the Texans, etc

Aside from just being good during the regular season, does everyone ignore what Flacco does in the postseaon? Lol

We know what we're going to get, so none of this gets to me. Eli has 2 rings and people still take jabs at him. I don't see it changing, even when Flacco wins his 2nd... YEAH I SAID IT!

Also, the publics last image of him is throwing an int. They won't remember the 4 tds he threw prior, but the 50-50 ball he threw, that got picked off.

Funny....despite the loss, I thought that with all the hype leading up to the game against Pats in the playoffs, followed by the usual great performance by Flacco, I figured that game was when the general public finally changed their viewpoint on Flacco forever.

Instead, I had to listen on NFL Network about how Forsett carried the offense, particularly late in the year, and now this? Lol...ignorance is bliss

It doesn't matter, all we're gonna hear about is how Roethlisberger didn't even make the list. I mean since Flacco obviously outplayed him in his own house...
