[News] Ed Reed To Announce His Retirement

88 posts in this topic

End of an era. He's the Greatest Safety of All Time, and it's not even close.

This here is just one example of his 64 picks. Bait the QB. Jump the route. Untouchable headed in the other direction. Ignite the crowd. Leave the enemy bewildered... Ed Reed.

An absolute joy to watch him play. The last chance I got to see him play was in Denver 2012. Happy retirement, REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED.

Such a great experience to watch Ed all of these years. The excitement Ed brought to the game roaming the outfield and watching him and Ray psyching each other up are memories burned deep in my brain and heart. Love ya Ed. Canton awaits.

Seems like just yesterday he was picking off Chad Pennington in Miami, that pick-6 against the Eagles, fumble for a touchdown on MNF against the Redskins, picking off Peyton twice in Indy...

So many memories. Thank you Ed. #20 REEEEEEEEEEED

Ed Reed is the greatest safety the NFL has ever seen period. You can argue that all day but you would lose that argument. Congratulations on your retirement Ed! If it were up to me, a statue wouldn't be out of order for your exploits!

He's got two tickets to paradise!!! Salute to a man that has brought game changing plays throughout his entire career. Onward to Canton, hopefully he can come back and coach eventually

Ray Lewis and Ed Reed were like the Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen of the NFL. 2 Great players playing together and feeding off each other's greatness to become a greater force. Thanks for the memories Ed Reed!!!

My favorite Raven of all time. Nothing was more exciting than seeing Ed swoop out of no where and take it for 6.

I'm glad that we are giving Reed the love tonight and not talking so much about the QB Queen Cry Brady.
