Floyd wouldn't be against fighting Pac again

13 posts in this topic

According to Stephen A, Floyd told him via text that he would fight Manny once again after he heals from surgery.

This of course coming out after it was revealed that Manny and his camp hid the fact the boxer was hurt during training sessions some 2.5 weeks ago.

Manny may even face discipline for apparently lying to the boxing committee.

Floyd said he would be willing to wait for Manny to heal up so that they could fight again

Thoughts?

Of course.. He was handed a 100 million dollar check

Yeah, why not? How much money will they make off a potential rematch?

Didn't watch and not really into boxing but there seem like a lot of Pacquiao fans that are sore about the loss... so you know they'd tune in. The BK mascot would be there again lol.

How much is the 'Oh, Pacquiao was hurt' story true vs cover-up for a flat performance when he was supposed to be great? ala Peyton's 'quad injury'...

My dream is he fights Golovkin... I don't think it will happen though unfortunately.

My dream is that May retires. Undoubtedly one of the greats of all time. He's that good. But he found a blueprint by being just completely awesome at defensive fighting. And it's soooooo boring. Don't understand why anybody would want to buy a Mayweather PPV.

I couldn't see it grossing nearly as well as the first one, given the sentiments people seem to have now.

Mayweather's style is boring, but effective. But it's boring, and the previous fight made that glaringly obvious.

Seemingly, after every fighter Floyd beats...there is always another name that is immediately thrown out there for him to fight.  Why?  At this point...it really doesn't matter.  None of these guys...including Golovkin are on his level.  None of them!  Lol..

I definitely don't want to see Floyd and Pacquaio fight again.  For what?  There's no point in it!

Floyd's fights are not boring to me but I love "boxing" (the are of hitting without being hit).  I love how he makes the other so-called; "superstars" of boxing look amateurish when they are in the ring with him including Pacquaio.  He just needs to win his next fight in September, regardless of who it is and go to 49-0 and walk away.  He's already talking about relinquishing his belts for other upcoming boxers to have a chance to gain a title.  Lol!  He's been boxing for 19 years and a champion for 18 years.  Incredible legacy!  There is NOTHING LEFT FOR HIM TO PROVE....NOTHING!

After someone fights, people speculate who their next opponent will be. He has nothing to prove but he already said he wasn't going to retire at 48-0. I feel Golovkin would be the best possible option.

Would I bet against Floyd again? No. I do wanna see him fight one last time and against someone like Golovkin

What a funny thought. Why is a boxer matched up against other boxers? To box I guess. And perhaps keep the sport and each boxers career progressing forward.

Floyd claims now he wouldn't be against a rematch, but I expect the terms to drag out forever again to the point where it will never happen.  And after beating Manny, I truly think the only thing on Floyd's mind is to find 2 easy fights, make it 50-0, call it a career as the all-time undefeated boxing champ.

Might want to change the title of this thread. Floyd apparently won't fight him again because he's calling him a poor loser.

Poor Loser? I didn't even watch the fight but heard enough about the dancing, hugging and acting all scared that I know Floyd is a baby. Danced around, kept backing in the corner to force the ref to keep Manny away, I feel sorry for those who spent $100 on the fight and paid $100 for a hugging fight.
