To be realistic Waller ran a 4.5 (average), and is a true 6'6(not 6'5 like Marlon who is actually 6'3 5/8). Also unlike Streeter, Waller has very soft hands, and plus body control. Waller is also one of the smartest players in the draft.

The negative on Waller is he might not have the quicks to play wideout consistently, and might be better suited playing the slot like a move tightend where his match-up potential can be fully exploited.

LOL...  sounds logical...  and yeah, maybe there are a couple of players out there that were being selfish...  As for Maxx,  possibly the latter... and we all know how good the Browns are at drafting...  but yeah, if I'm out to get a spot on an NFL team???  It's gonna be about me and my abilities until I get into the playing situation where I can become a TEAM MATE....

Honestly though if any one of us were being interviewed by the Browns, wouldn't we want to sound as aloof and disinterested as possible? I mean who wants to work in the Factory of Sadness? Cmon.

Jimmy Graham 6'6" 260, 40yd time: 4.56; 20yd split: 2.66; 10yd split: 1.58 ; verticle 38.5; 20yd shuttle 4.45; 3 cone 6.90

Darren Waller 6'6" 240, 40yd time: 4.46; 20yd split: 2.62; 10yd split: 1.57; verticle 37; 20yd shuttle 4.25; 3 cone 7.07

If used in the right contexts, we've essentially got a lighter, little quicker and more agile version of Jimmy Graham.

No Im not buying Streeter comp on Waller, sorry negative nancy's.

This guy is a freak all reports are he is a under utilized freak burner that can be developed into a special no.1 type talent.

Use him immediately as a Jacoby replacement, secondary deep threat.. And have Bobby Ingram develop this kid in year 2,3 to where we have our own version of twin towers with Perriman and Waller..

But having 2 deep threats instead of 1 forces Safeties to STAY 20 plus yards off the line of scrimmage, see Jacoby and Torrey during SB Run. Which in turn leaves TEs and RBs open underneath and over the middle all day long.

Campanaro becomes the KR/PR... Waller will become the secondary deep threat.. And likely Brown, Aiken, and Smith other WRs with Perriman as Starter

I don't understand- Ozzie took a WR who can't catch in the first round... and this is from one of the best overall talent evaluators except at the WR position where he's often missed (besides Torrey Smith).

Will Joe be Boyle Loyal? Sorry couldn't help myself.

Attn MissRay27, I ask myself the same question, I'm sure that Joe Flacco Is just very happy that the Ravens Brass though that Nick Boyle [ another Delaware guy ] was worth a chance, If Nick proves himself I'm sure Joe will give him that chance to be a go-to-guy. It just thrills me to see a small college player makes It In the NFL regardless.

For the record (easily verified, if editors were checking) Nick Boyle did not lead the Delaware Blue Hens in receptions last year. Michael Johnson caught 78 passes last season, about twice as many as Nick. Just sayin...it's easy to check on the world-wide inter web thingy.

I'm thinking Williams will start since he is a pretty good blocker. That way if Pitta can go, he can come in as a pass catcher and limit his snap count. To be honest, I think he would be crazy to come back anything less than 8 games if at all, but when you love a sport it's hard to give it up

http://dawgpounddaily.com/2015/04/08/te-maxx-williams-attitude-problem-nfl-draft-fall/

Either a couple of teams pulled the stunt the Cowboys tried to pull with Shane Ray and scare people off so they could take him themselves, or two, he was a jerk and given his choice of words in his sitdown with Garrett, his parents intervened and slapped Maxx upside the head.

After our comments yesterday...  I found this...  rather eye opening...  or as you said...

His father’s reaction to Williams being drafted didn’t differ too much from Brett Perriman’s either.

“He said, ‘You know what, you have to earn respect,’” Williams said. “’You have to go in, shut your mouth and go to work every day and earn the respect of your teammates and show who you are, because now you’re at the highest level where no matter what, everyone’s the best there is.”

Im going to go out on a limb and say Flacco tops 30 TD passes this season.. Trestman likes the bigger receivers on the outside (Marshall & Jeffery) So look for Perriman and Marlon Brown to be outside with Steve Smith Sr and Campanaro rotating in the slot. Maxx Williams and/or Dennis Pitta to hold down TE.. Oh and cant forget about Justin Dorsett.. I mean Forsett*!.. ;)

I don't agree with the Jets or Bengals getting an A+ and I'm iffy on the Jags. I'd give the Jags an A for sure, but I'd definitely lower the Bengals and Jets grades to like a B+ at best.

Most outlets gave us an A picking at #26. Just imagine what we would have done if we had the #6 pick. How many pluses can you put behind an A?

For where they picked, they killed it more than the Jets or Bengals.

No diving catches in training camp rookies. Don't want to see any weird or freak injuries, ala Dennis Pitta. Save the spectacular catches for the preseason games and season.

Again no awkward catches or swats Ravens veterans and rookies. We just lost a corner for a year with a broken leg.
