2015 Ravens UDFA Signings

The Ravens' cursed CB position strikes again: UDFA CB Julian Wilson of Oklahoma suffered a broken leg today at minicamp per Aaron Wilson.

You've got to be kidding me. Jesus. This is insane.

This is unfair. Now I understand why the Chargers are always addressing their o-line: dudes are constantly getting hurt. Sheesh.

Good lord.  I didn't really expect Wilson to make the 53 man roster, but still a tough blow to a guy that could be a nice developmental piece.

I don't even know the guy but I feel sorry for Julian Wilson but maybe he can get his shot with the team next season

The tweet says he's getting surgery and is done for the year.  He's going on IR, no doubt.

Unbelievable

I had Wilson lasting long into the preseason, maybe even cracking 53.

There is a max that teams can offer to UDFA. All 32 teams have probably offered him the max that he can receive. It would be pretty dumb for any team in the league to not offer him a contract.

Some states (like Texas) don't have state income tax. So even though they can offer the same max contract, the amount the player receives in states like Texas and Florida is much higher than others.

Odd he wound up in Texas, isn't it?

Any more CB Prospects out there?

We did try out Antoine Lewis from Purdue this weekend.  I don't know much about him honestly, but I've seen some on Twitter that were very surprised he wasn't able to secure a UDFA contract.  He might be a guy that gets one now.

I really like Magee and Depriest. The great thing about Magee is he has a lot of tread on the tires. He will need some work, but he could work out to be a great compliment. Depriest is really the best compliment to mosely. He's a real run stuffer. While smith is around Depriest has time to get polished and I think he'd be better suited to take over than brown. Brown has potential, but he's just too small and weak to play in the box.

Bama North. Courtney, CJ, Trey, Nick...how wild would that be?

Undrafted free agent Darius Allen looks like the next small school hit for the Ravens?

Please go to YouTube for his Highlights. The audio tracks can't be linked to site.

Watch how he, in Ray Lewis words(hunt) down Qbs and Rbs with speed and energy.

You can see alot of Seahawks Bruce Irvin in this guy!

Yeah Harbs was pretty impressed with everyone at camp this weekend so I am sure we may see a couple guys earn a spot on the 90 man roster for camp.

De Andre Carter has that something special..

I really really hope he makes the team. He's exceptionally quick and plays much bigger than his size. He's powerful too..

I think he's the gem of this UDFA class..

I need some help here guys; who is everyone's favourite UDFA? And which one of them is most likely to make the 53 man roster going into the season?

I'd keep an eye on...

WR DeAndre Carter

WR Cam Worthy

LB Darius Allen

FS Nick Perry

I'd think all of these guys have a pretty good shot at the team.
