RB Domonique Hayden from Thomas More invited to camp on tryout basis

https://twitter.com/RavensInsider/status/594689276966739968

5'8" 212 lbs

i like him. 2000 yard rusher, 217 yds receiving. Good vision, nice speed, nice, wide lower body. I definitely think he'll make the practice squad (if we didn't have 3 that were likely to make the roster no matter what i would say he makes the roster). He reminds me alot of Alfred Morris

Good to hear! I was familiar with him before the Draft and I liked his tape.

Justin manton is apparantly a prodigious kicker... But we have tucker..

Whats the point ? I know hes ranked the number 1 kicker in college football but camp competition for tucker?

He's also a punter.

There has been a few undrafted free agents that have made something of themseves in a Raven jersey.  Priest Holmes, Marlon Brown, Hurst from last year and Ellerbe I believe all these guys were undrafted free agent who got their carrers started with the Ravens. It is a good place to start your career. Harbs lets the guys truly compete too.

yeah we usually find at least one guy each year

I imagine thats why we brought him in, the fact that he can kick to is just an added bonus. He says he's most comfortable being a punter and KO specialist

heres an interview where he says that

http://www.nola.com/lsu/index.ssf/2015/02/five_questions_with_former_ulm.html

That's intriguing... having a P who would also specialize in doing kickoffs.

Tucker isn't a slouch at getting touchbacks though. He was top-5 in 2012 and 2014, and that's playing over half his games outdoors.

Anyway, so my post isn't as off-topic:

Terry Williams, NT, ECU is still out there...we're lacking a true #2 NT behind B. Williams...

I liked him on tape and he'd make a ton of sense.

Had a really good game against Virginia Tech, don't know how many more open spots we have but he has shown flashes

While we are on the subject of players who had a great day against Virginia Tech, Cam Worthy is still out there as well.

Looks like the Ravens are going to have a lot of guys to look at during camp. Not saying that in previous years they did not have a lot of guys to look at. I just want to get at least 1 guy that makes the team and is an impact player taken as a R.U.F.A.

I'd like Terry Williams, obviously. I'm also a fan of Worthy. Those are two solid names.

Would he be Worthy of a roster spot though? Edited by ludy51

Not gonna lie, Jerry Lovelocke is a great name. He'll fit right in with Phillip Supernaw, Crockett Gillmore (still my favorite), Ladarius Webb and, of course, MaXX Williams (so extreme).

kind of like Buck to.  Now if we could only get a Rocky we'd be complete.

We seem to like collecting OL this year...

The Ravens have reached a free agent deal with Ohio State offensive tackle Darryl Baldwin, according to a source

Well, Castillo loves undrafted small school guys. This is his specialty. We're probably getting a whole bunch and seeing if Castillo can turn one or two into a starter.

His size, at 241, would seem to indicate he might be a transition to ILB.  Perfect size for the position.

have you looked at his tape? guy's a relentless rusher, crazy motor. Maybe he'd be a guy like McClellan that'll switch between teh two positions but based on his tape i think it'd be best to let him rush. He can gain weight, thats not a huge issue regardless
