Welcome to Baltimore: Darren Waller

Marlon brown is a confirmed bum. Waller has done really good on S/T. Why is he getting NO time?

While I agree that Waller is looking good on S/T, the only reason why I think Marlon is still getting playing time is because he's auditioning for next year (clearly failing at this point). Waller still looks raw, but at this point, we have nothing to lose by throwing him into the fire.

Wow. Wasted season for him. We could've at least TRIED to develop him. Now we have NO future potential at the WR position on this team.

It's crazy to me that they didn't even try develop him this year but will continue to put Marlon and Kamar on the field.  So much for getting a chance on offense or defense if you play well on special teams

We've tried and put him on the field for first 3 games.  He failed miserably.   Then he found a redeeming spot in ST.   But he is injured again...

You might be misinformed. According to Football Outsiders he played the following amount of offensive snaps :

Week 1 - 0

Week 2 - 2

Week 3 - 0

Week 4 - 25

Week 5 - 18

Week 6 - 0

Week 7 - 0

So no he never even got a fair shake, Marlon Brown sucks, Aiken sucks, let the kid learn, instead he is the next in a long list of late drafted WR's that get mysterious year ending injuries to stunt their development.

Considering Harbaugh admitted he never got on the field week 1, only played 2 snaps week 2 (both snaps he beat his man deep and Joe underthrew each time), and then didn't see a single snap week 3, I'm curious as to how you come to this conclusion.  I'm guessing you remember nothing of Waller the first three weeks and just wanted to comment

I saw hamstring, but nothing on the extent of it.

Sounds like nothing serious but we probably didn't want to wait for him then. That's good for his future outlook

@Ravens: Harbaugh: Darren Waller has a serious hamstring injury that will take him six to eight weeks to recover. He has been placed on IR.

No, you're right, He'll be back for playoffs, he has to, Flacco's holding a viewing party in his home theater and they need Cheetos.

point taken.   actually no, b/c 2 reception 18 yard warrants nothing.  i don't like scrambling experiments anymore.   aiken was that.   if you are going to produce for us, show it to us right from the bat or you are out.   just the nature of NFL.

Kind of Par for the Raven's Course this year.  Waller had a Ton of potential, but they elected to play the roster WR veterans.  How'd that work out?

Hopefully, he comes back 100%.   Very disappointing, but the Raven's were just as big a disappointment.

Like the Cubs say, "wait til next year".

That's what was most mystifying. You can't look at M.Brown or Aiken and seriously think you've got a long term pass receiver.

Well, you used facts in a dispute where your rival was unarmed.  Be gentle...its like you're Gennady Golovkin matched up vs a girl scout with mint wafers.

If we had that mindset with Jimmy Smith, he would be playing for another team right now.......

It's a shame to see Waller get hurt. And even if he never becomes a really good receiver, getting a special teams ace late in the draft is pretty good. Well worth the pick.

This logic would have had quite a few players cut after their rookie season including Yanda who struggled his first season when they put him at RT and LT before he ever played RG.  Osemele also struggled his rookie season at RT giving up 8 sacks and 7 penalties before being switched to LG.  In fact, "produce or you are out" mindset would have had every current Ravens drafted player cut their first year except Mosely and Suggs,
