for the 6th round this seems good but remember tommy streeter? I think waller has a bit more to his game though.

Going to be interesting WR competition in camp. SSS, Perriman, Marlon, Aiken, Camp, Butler, Waller and I'm sure others.

I like the pick, especially when you take the value into consideration. Kind of odd that Ozzie went mostly offense, but most assuredly welcomed.

So how soon does teams sign UDFAs? Is it right after the draft?

Yes i believe as soon as the last pick is taken the phones start heating up..... The Raven crew is going to be at it till later tonight.

Can we limit the hype this year about the UFAs we sign? Last year peeps talked like they were 2nd round, can't miss, starters. A little tempered judgment pls. <_<

Huge WR, that needs time to develop. Could be great, could be another Tommy Streeter. I like this with our last pick. Take a chance.

If this is the last pick and we don't trade back in, this was a solid draft. Got some new offensive weapons, a potential future starter at LG in Myers and a young pass rusher to develop behind Suggs and Doom

From what I recall, we're already on the phones with guys telling them we're interested if they go undrafted.

im just personally not big on waller, he just doesnt seem to move very well. i think dezmin lewis being only 2 inches shorter and identical 40 time, bigger hands, excellent ability to pluck the ball out of the air, and works the whole field with solid movement, was the better wr.

but hey, a 6'6" wr who can get up high and catch the ball in the end of the 6th, cant really complain too much. ozzie clearly is done playing around with a weak offense.

I think Trestman and Ozzie will have had a lengthy talk before the draft and I'd be very surprised if our RZ struggles weren't discussed at length at the FO's postseason meeting.

Watched some tape OH I like him soft hands and a guy that big shouldn't be that fast. What are his downsides why wasn't he drafted higher?

Ravens Draft Tracker:

"Suspended for season-opening games in both 2013 and 2014 (suspended two games total in 2014) for violation of team rules. Invited to play in 2015 East-West Shrine Game. In 2014, started the final eight games of the season and scored a touchdown in each of his final three games, including an Orange Bowl win over Mississippi State where he finished with five catches for 114 yards. From 2011-13, made 14 starts and played in 38 games. Was a two-year team captain in high school, playing both wide receiver and defensive back."

All those offensive players are not only future starters, but cheaper future offensive starters so we can rearrange Flacco's contract without hurting the defense after this year. Flacco and Monroe are the only offensive players guaranteed above 6.5 million in 2016, probably Yanda next. All those high quality offensive players we selected are all at least potential starters, meaning we will have a " cheap offense" with very good players the next 3 - 4 years without messing up the quality of the defense.

Production and very raw at the position. Of course that's due to playing at GT. Probably a hell of a run blocker though.

Yep.  Lots of deals are in place before the draft even ends.

Yeah Kubiak is jelly right now

Engram has to get Waller and Perriman developed though, that should keep him busy

I'm happy to give him the benefit of the doubt over Perriman and Waller's a no-loss game really, so I'd like to think there are plenty of reasons to be optimistic about our offence for this season and down the line.

Also, we've finally gotten Joe some guys to throw to. Next year's draft forum is going to be lost without the clamouring for more weapons.

I believe your right but obviously thats only if they are not drafted by the end of the 7th round. But yes your right Ravens are already reaching out to agents and some of the free agent signings come very fast after the draft ends.....

waller definitely has better hands, streeters hands were just imaginary, i dont know if he considered his hands part of his football arsenal, he thought he could catch everything with his forearms and his stomach lol

Yeah he did well last year with what he had, I think he can but it will be a nice chunk of work as neither is a complete player

We'll find something to complain about lol

next year we'll be clamoring for OLB's, i can almost guarantee it.

I figured so. Thanks guys. Kinda disappointed that we only drafted one CB, but I'm sure we'll pick up some once the draft is over.

I like Waller and Tray Walker because they are high upside. It's so easy to draft a dud on day 3, might as well swing for the fences.

One of the big surprises for me in this draft is that, with 10 picks and all the speculation around how much movement we'd make, the only move was up 3 spots in the 2nd. Now, of course that could have ended up being a small move with big consequences, as we may not have gotten Williams, but I still anticipated a lot more dealing.

That would mean that either we were having a hard time finding partners or that we felt it was a deep enough draft that we wanted to retain as many picks as possible and bring in as many prospects as possible.

Very well said. We had everything we need out of the way. I'd rather have some high upside guy in rounds 4-7 than low risk, low upside.

Next year would be the year to do it. We still got Doom, Suggs, and Upshaw for one more season, and then Upshaw's contract is up.
