Well, love him or hate him hes our guy so we may as well hope he and Joe can build a killer partnership.

So if you're reading this Breshad, welcome aboard. 50 receptions for 1044 yards and 9 TDs in his final year and steady improvements each year. Hopefully he pans out as the WR1 everyone's been clamouring for.

Don't party too hard and get ready to put in that work to be the best receiver you can be. BTW..your new name will be Pacman. Hopefully you'll gobble up DBs.

Up and down on this pick. He has potential to be a true number 1, he just needs to fix his hands and route running. Seems like a Trestmen pick. Hopefully he can develop him.

Question is... Is he worth a spot on my fantasy football team?

Last year's Rookie WR Class set a ridiculous high standard.

Welp, might as well get the thread started for this. Personally, I would have taken Devin Smith, but I don't hate this pick. If there was ever a time for the Ravens to take a project receiver it's now. We have SSS for a couple years to mentor him, and a new WR's coach who seemed to do a good job with Brown, Aiken, and Camp.

I'd take Perriman as a deep threat over Torrey Smith. He would have at least fought for the ball in that Patriots' game.

Yeah, I feel like we could have done better but I'm happy to come back in a year's time (or whenever) and say I was wrong about it.

And in fairness to the guy, he does have a few things going for him that our previous busts didn't, such as a franchise QB and a legitimate OC. Let's give him a chance and see how he actually copes in the league before writing him off.

I'm seeing player comparisons comparing him to Julio Jones, Josh Gordon and Alshon Jeffery. Seems like a Trestman player. He has much more potential to be a number one receiver versus someone like Devin Smith, and he also has more speed than Devin. He fuxes his hands, he'll make a heckuva player. It's not like he isn't a hands catcher, he just loses focus sometimes.

Yeah, he's got a lot going for him. There are a lot of things to like. His hands issue could just be an overblown complaint. We'll have to see. I'm willing to give him a chance.

Dorsett would have been a better pick. I sure hope the can coach this kid to watch the ball. Speed doesn't catch the ball. I really hope they get another like Rashad Greene.

Welcome!

I wasn't the hugest fan pre-draft, but hey, I'll defer to the FO.  Perriman has my full support, of course.

The two most important people with this pick will be Steve Smith Sr and Bobby Engram. Not sure how i feel about a WR with drop issues especially knowing how much that issue has bothered this offense the last couple years. But I like him. Honestly i'm a huge J. Strong fan and think many are underrating him but I'm happy the Ravens finally went into a draft with the intention and building around their franchise QB like we see so many other teams do so well. I like him as a compliment to what we already have and if a guy like Bennett can be added at TE, even better, but I'm not sure if he's the #1 WR, especially with the drop issues. But he definitely has great potential.

Like him or hate him, I think with the down field attacking style of Trestman and he aggressive nature of Flacco, Perriman will have plenty of opportunity to win the hearts of Baltimore fans.

I also look at it like this. The team has plenty of possession receivers with hands. They lacked a big play threat. Why not get Perriman? At the very least, he's a big play guy that the team lacked. At the best, he can become a number one guy for them. He is full of potential

He's got the potential, history just hasn't been kind to us regarding first round receivers. We also have bad history with drops in playoff games and clutch moments. Plenty of reason for us to be skeptical. Is he a receiver Joe is going to be comfortable throwing it up to?

Apples and oranges but a lot of people were upset after we drafted Torrey so I'm not completely bashing the pick. Torrey had his obvious flaws as well but overall a great career here...I'm heartbroken we didn't take Jaelen Strong...Pissed off we didn't take Devin Smith. Mad but not surprised we gambled on Perriman rather than Green-Beckham. But I'm happy we made an effort in giving Joe a potential legit weapon. And that is what he'll be if he breaks that trend in history and reaches his potential. I think Engram and Steve Smith Sr will be great influences for him.

But welcome to Bmore!

That is exactly how I feel, if they can get him developed it will be a great pick but he needs some work. Developing WRs has been a weak point of ours so now we will see just how good Engram and SSS are

He passed the model citizen test since he was a Ravens choice.  Overall, I'm glad we choose an Offensive player to supplement Joes' needs.

He is like a Torrey Smith and Jacoby Jones mix. I was hoping for a WR pick.

So that means we got a real good deep threat which is what we need and if he can be returner like Jacoby Jones that even better especially if he can dance.
