Of course. They couldnt get a deal down now and the titans were obviously listening. So just go ahead and draft the big bargaining chip and keep taking offers for the rest of the offseason.

Yeah, don't get me wrong, the value is great, but the QB is the #1 piece of any team. If you think you got that guy, there's no deal good enough to me unless it's including a QB of that caliber. They could theoretically be searching for that guy for years if they pass now and regret it. GMs get fired for passing on QBs like this.

Mariotta at the moment seems like he has high bust potential.  QBs who can not go thru progressions well rarely are successful in the NFL long term.  You have QBs like RG3 and Kaep who can have success for a year or two with that method but in general the running catches up with you and you need to know how to make reads and in general they can not and I have not seen anything to say Mariotta can either.
