Before Gametome, Let's Just Talk About It

Who's cocky, all the fans I wanna know. Which of you are like me, and humble, or cocky? Also, who will get the most carries? Will we play conservatively, or creatively? What are Flaccos stats? Let's just talk about it.

Also, let's talk about next season, prediction of our record? I think with an easier schedule, less injuries, and more experience, we could go 13-3 or 12-4ish.

I'm confidently humble.
Flacco will play very well today. Let's say 280 yards, 2 TDs, run for another 35 or so. I think it's his day to shine.

I'm humble. I'm really glad to be in this position... plus, if we win, there's a chance I can drive the 4 hours to Nashville for the game, where I'm 1-0 seeing Titans/Ravens games. But I digress. I would have never thought a rookie HC/QB combination could take us this far. Never in a million years did I think we'd have a shot at going better than .500 this year.

As for the game, I'm actually a little nervous. I usually get this way before every game regardless of opponenet, but this time, more than ever. All we need is to bank the first W and I'll feel a lot better about our chances. I know the team doesn't overlook any opponent (like we do - ), but man, with Indy gone, I think we can beat any team left standing in the AFC as long as we play Ravens football.

I'll feel a lot better after the opening kickoff, sitting at the bar I've seen all the other Ravens games at, cold beers in hands.

Let's not jinx our chances now -- let's save next season for when this one ends. :D

Why are you going to a bar? Aren't they televising it nationally. Bug I know how you feel, I have to go to a bar for almost every game too, except primetime games.

Could anybody else not help but smile when they showed Flacco walking into the stadium this morning? I got that ESPN respect Peyton Manning/Brett Favre feel from it.

I'm going in confident, but after seeing the falcons and colts who were both favored to win, lose, I'm slightly reserved in that confidence. I think all the back will get touches today, equal.

I found 2 other Ravens fans in St. Louis and we all meet up at the same bar ever week. I managed to dump Sunday Ticket because I found a pocket of fans... and for the longest time, I thought that I was the only Ravens fan in the St. Louis area.

Only a handful more and we can have a roost, right?
