2015 Schedule

Then let's hope Peyton retires after this season lol. How is it they end up facing each other every year, with the way the schedule rotates, you think they would have played each other every other year or two years.

their teams usually finish 1st in their division and being in the same conference guarantees them having a match pretty much every season unless 1 gets injured.

People are complaining about Manning-Brady games? Don't you guys like football? My god, even I look forward to that game, and I hate both of them.

I kind of like all those road games at once. It'll build toughness for the long run. And I like the bye week smack dab in the middle.

that last sentence lol. let me repost what i already posted...

".. and im not stating the "nfl favors" this team or that team, im simply stating their schedule is no tougher than ours. if anything ours is tougher considering the road scheduling."

Yea that was more a generic statement

Some of you guys obsessions with Pittsburgh is hilarious to read. Every thread turns into a 'what's Pittsburgh doing' and 'Pittsburgh has it worse than us'.

They may be our biggest rival and best competition but did we all forget that we can't beat the Bengals recently. They have finished above us the last two years. On top of that, both Browns games, I believe, we were losing at one point.

Just smh.....

Arnie: There was a guy being interviewed on NFL Network. He indicated that there has been very little computer generation of the schedule. That they usually have a "war room" just as the teams do at draft time..... That there typically are many schedules that are created prior to "the One" being set in stone and released. I wish I could remember who it was that was doing the interview. That's why the release of it is so arbitrary.

That's not entirely true there are super computers that pump out different scenarios with a ton of cobstrainsts. Many alot of people aren't even considering such as stadium blocks for events, team requests, who do they side with? The coaches the front office the fans... All the network TV considerations. I will link a great interview as soon as I find it.

Here is the excerpt I was referring to.....  Sad part is that the reference the Baltimore Ravens and how handling it "Manually" is so important... because the Ravens could not open at home after the Super Bowl...  So yes, maybe the computer spits out schedules...  but THOUSANDS of them.....

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1606598-how-is-the-nfl-schedule-created

Designing a schedule that generates those ratings, while also guaranteeing competitive fairness, is more complicated than ever, even though a computer program in use for eight years now does some of the work that was once done entirely by hand—spitting out 400,000 complete or partial schedules from a possible 824 trillion game combinations.

Along with the difficultly that comes with such an astronomically high number of possibilities, the NFL has to plan specific games around the Thursday night schedule—every team gets one on Thursday now—and MLB games that, as Battista put it, "could affect the availability of stadiums and parking lots in October."

Ask the reigning Super Bowl-champion Baltimore Ravens about scheduling conflicts with hometown MLB teams.

Because the Orioles already have a game on the docket against the Chicago White Sox on Thursday, September 5, and the teams share a parking lot, Joe Flacco, Ray Rice and Co. will start their defense campaign on the road.

Ravens win over Denver in the playoffs was one of the best games I ever watched.

That game is only God knows the results....too much things happened in few secs.....

I know we came in with a loss imprinted; I just hoped we played our hearts out....

That game really sucked all of my energy in 1 night.....

Denver is not going to be the team they used to be. And what the hell makes you think we won't beat Pittsburgh? I don't like your attitude

It's a divisional road game on a short week just 4 days after playing the bengals(who are another tough divisional opponent). It's also Bell's first game back, our 3rd road game in our first 4 games and on top of all of that we usually lose in pittsburgh anyway. It's not really an attitude it's just me looking at it with my bias put to the side. Also we don't have the offense to keep up with denver.Thats a game we might have to put up 30 to win and as our team stands right now I don't think we can do that on the road.Especially not at the pace that denver can score.

I like our schedule. I love to finish with a stretch of home games, especially in our division. Would've been nice to stay in the bay area but I'm sure the team will work something out.

Sorry, I just don't see adversity as something to whine about. It's just time to go to work.

It's close, and, well, Denver isn't all that far away. It could be worse. Like I said above, we'll figure something out. We just have to go to work. I hope our players aren't as soft as our fans are.

Now I see why other fans dump on us for complaining. The schedule really isn't bad and is back loaded with home games. Handle your business early, while the team is fresh and get to finish out at home. Sounds like a good deal to me. This stretch will show how tough the team is.

Didn't mean to sound like a jerk if you could hear my tone I was kind of just being funny. I see what you mean though- of the first four games I actually think Pittsburgh is the one we will most likely lose, but I damn sure wouldn't bet on it. For some reason Denver doesn't worry me the least- if manning thinks he's gonna toss another 7 Tds he's got another thing comin. I see us actually shutting him down and their running game doing more against us than the passing game. He will throw a few picks and might throw a td or 2. But flacco will outplay him hands down. I'm gettin impatient man! C'mon September

If we lose a game its not going to be because of a long plane ride.

My Pack has the Bears in Chicago to open the season then we have Seattle at home on SNF then a Monday night game at home against KC. Then we travel to Frisco to take on the Niners then home against the Rams then home against San Diego then a bye week then on the road to face Peyton Manning and the Broncos.

I don't think Denver will be as good as the last few years. Manning is getting to the point where he cant make it through an entire season. He is also terrible in cold weather.

It usually isn't that cold in September and it's the first game of the season so Manning will be 100% healthy.

Well that's nice to see two Packer QB greats in the season opener: Rodgers and Cutler.

Bold Prediction

Ravens 12-4

Superbowl 50 - Ravens

20th season - Destiny

I agree with both. I can see us easily getting 11 wins. For some reason I think it will be the ravens and cowboys in Super Bowl 50. Either them or the packers . This will be a season to remember

Agreed. Leaning towards Packers, but Cards could also be in the mix too. That said, Ravens get it done. Just a feeling.

Did you read that in the Raven Conspiracy Manual? lol & smh

Yes, she's the leader. It's not like the schedules are preset years in advance or anything. Oh wait...
