Ravens Open Castle to Wounded Warrior Project

21 posts in this topic

I'm posting this in Ravens talk because I feel it's such an awesome and important thing that the Ravens organization has done for us Wounded Warriors.

Today we were invited to the castle to take a full tour of the facility. It was so in depth we walked past the players mail boxes. KLM needs to empty his box! Lol. I walked past OJ Brigances office and seen him inside working. Truly a beautiful place it was!

After our tour, we were brought out to the field to do a 7 station workout with the Ravens training staff and Under Armour trainers. It was awesome to have the connection through fitness with my fellow Warriors.

In the end we got to run routes and catch passes from Anthony Levine and Morgan Cox. They were in the facility working out and decided to come see us.

This was truly an incredible event for the WWP and the Baltimore Ravens and it shows just how much of a class organization we have in our great city!

That's awesome, man! Glad you had a good time. I love being a fan of this class organization. How did Levine and Cox look as QBs? Haha.

Awesome man. It sounds great. How do you get to go? Just be apart of the WWP? Do you have to be wounded yourself or a soldier or what? How about that PT?

Levine was incredibly accurate! He put me in the end zone with a back shoulder throw. Even gave me a dab for hauling it in. I told him we have our emergency QB. Morgan.....meh, stick to long snapping lol. They were really great!

This event was for Wounded Warriors only meaning that everyone there sustained some type of physical or mental injury.

Edit: the training was awesome. I do Crossfit regularly and this regimen had me dying lol

Ahh I see yeah that's what I figured. Wasn't sure if you could've joined the WWP to help. Hope all is good for you, by the way.

Harbs has been a great ambassador for the military. Glad you had a great time.

Nailed it!!! I have a handwritten letter from him sent all the way to Afghanistan back in 09. He loves the military and we appreciate his commitment to us!

I never like to use my veteran status for anything... But this is something I wish I could participate in.

Harbs is a good man, Love that he has such a passion and dedication to the Military. It doesn't take much for the Ravens organization to put on something like this, but it has to be huge for folks in the WWP.

maybe we should move him over to 3rd string qb since he cant tackle or cover anybody

jokes aside, great organization for a great cause
