Offensive linemen typically are your more intelligent football players... but this takes it to a new level. Let's hope we can keep him beyond his rookie contract.

Ryan Mink, I made an account on this site specifically for one purpose:

So I could tell you to learn how to copy URLs.

None of the links in this article work without having to manually copy the address and delete the stupid email extensions you have in there.

I also can't even view this page on my phone after I hit "View in Browser."

Get someone else to proofread your articles because I've noticed this before and it's obnoxious.

I agree. It's not just him. The other Two Musketeers need to chip in and hire themselves a real proofreader. I guess it doesn't matter to them or their bosses.

LOL You never hesitate to criticize the writers.

Don't mean to pile on, but c'mon Ryan! This is just plain laziness. Checking at least one article link before (or immediately after) publishing should've revealed a problem.

I wonder if his Mensa-level of intelligence translates to the football field when it comes to quickly recognizing opposing formations and anticipating blitz patterns. It takes a lot of intelligence to be a center in this league (Birk was a Harvard grad), and I know Urschel practices at both G and C.

Can anyone tell me what "Laplacians" are? Sounds like an alien lifeform.

LaPlace was a mathematician. He devised a method for transforming functions of time to frequency domains ... OK I'll stop there. I got my degree in Mathematics, but what this dude is doing is on another planet from anything I dealt with.

Here is our center of the future. He did a terrific job when filling in at guard last year. He was a steal in the draft.

Very impressive, but what would be even more impressive is if he can solve the problem of filling in for KO next year after he leaves for greener pastures. I believe it's called the "next man up" theorem.

As long as he plays well, the rest doesn't really matter if put in the right context. However, he is an interesting chap with remarkable intelligence.

Ryan Mink has demonstrated a general malaise for spell and grammar checking and now he doesn't even verify that his links work. Just plain lazy work in my opinion. However, it must be said that Sarah Ellison and Garrett Downing are vastly superior when it comes to reporting and writing. Maybe Kevin gets Ryan to focus in on other things in his department other than blog posts for a bit or better yet, get him to apprentice for a year or so with Eisenberg.

Thanks for all the "kind" words, ya'll. I put the correct links into the story. It's a problem when stories are posted into our CMS from emails, and I didn't post this story. So thanks for your assumptions, and especially your opinion ellicottraven. I'll go into the system and correct these links.

Unlike some of my other purple brothers (as seen on this board) I like your perspectives and the insights you have when presenting these articles, so I can get over a glitch here or there. So, you just keep writing from your heart brother, you are doing an excellent job to me.....GO RAVENS!

He will use a formula to figure out his next contract once his rook contract ends...

Hey Ryan, I was more brutal than I needed to me. I guess it is that time of the night. I was unkind and for that accept my apology. You are a Raven, we all love you regardless of the occasional outburst.

how can you have a tie in chess?

Perhaps when you get into a stalemate situation.

Was that on purpose?

Thank you.

When I made my original comment is when I first realized the links were still *there,* just behind some odd e-mail link. I know this has happened before and when I see a link that sounds interesting (AKA anything relating to Urschel) I'd really like to see what's being referenced, so it had me pretty annoyed.

P.S. Forbes' explanation didn't help.

Understandably @PurpleLeomonade. We talked in our morning meeting today about being more careful to make sure those links are functioning properly in stories. Thanks for the heads up.
