Baltimore Orioles 2015

Back when Arrieta threw his no hitter, there was a report from someone that said when Arrieta arrived in Chicago, they told him to forget everything that the O's had taught him. Whatever Chicago did, worked. Whatever we did, didn't. It doesn't speak well to our development process.

It's sad, but I really don't think the organization has any clue how to develop young arms. Arm injuries happen to a lot of young pitchers nowadays, but the way we handled Bundy was just stupid. The organization told him to stop throwing fastballs and to only focus on breaking balls and off speed pitches. Of course you're going to blow out your arm when making that radical of a change.

Yeah it has really hurt us

@Orioles: Manny Machado played in all 162 games this season & was the only player in the majors to accomplish the feat in 2015. http://t.co/IoWwdUKfh3

That's interesting.  It's a shame we've treated him so poorly.  I can't stomach the idea of him on another team.

They need to keep Crush too...  Don't know if Angelos will, but that is my biggest bone of contention with this team.  I was a HUGE O's fan...  until he started gutting the team.  It'll be interesting to see the direction they go after this season.

Yeah not fun at all, hopefully we don't have to do it twice in one year

If we don't re sign Chris Davis, I'm done.

Better start researching who your new team will be, because we aren't re-signing him! Angelos is too cheap!

You are probably right, but I hope not.

Sadly, I know this. They will let him walk and sign two bargain bin players who had a 20 Homer season like 5 years ago.

They just haven't grasped the concept that you can't make chicken salad out of chicken (you know what)

Depressing.

@Ken_Rosenthal: Interest in O’Day so extensive, even teams with deep bullpens have expressed interest, sources say. Among them: The #Royals.

Glad to have my two favorite players back. O'Day and Wieters!

I hope we can get Davis, but I doubt it at this point.

Anyway, I hope to bring back everyone almost, we have something special here in Bmore. We get the most out of players and the chemistry is off the charts. That's what I like about bringing guys like Wieters and O'Day back.

The Orioles are believed to have offered $150M to Chris Davis today. It's just $3M per year shy of the perceived ceiling contract range.

That's an extremely competitive offer and I really hope Davis likes Baltimore enough to stay...

The Orioles have been hinting that they need an answer soon and will be looking to move on soon if an agreement can't be reached.

To be honest, I'm just shocked that they made that high an offer... that has to be an Orioles record
