Baltimore Orioles 2015

That may be the scariest offense in MLB now.

Too bad their bullpen is on par with ours and their starting pitching rotation is a joke. Yankees have it for the div I think this year with baltimore edging toronto for second.

Toronto definitely needs pitching but they have the offensive weapons to go on another long run of winning. They could possibly still make a run at a wild card but IMHO their pitching woes will not take them far in the playoffs. Then again the O's are still in wild card race but IMHO would not go very far in the playoffs either.

Kansas,Houston,Angels I think are the 3 best teams in the league with st louis coming 4th. I think kansas and houston are well rounded with pitching and hitting and are the most dangerous.

Agreed, I just pray that it will be anyone but the Royals or Yankees. I lost total respect for the Royals last year with the classless way they acted after they beat us and I never liked the Yankees with them picking up the best free agents year in and year out. The Astros would be a good story if they were to win it all.

Yeah the way ventura and the royals came out at the start of this year, starting fights with a few teams including my A's like a bunch of punks. Stros winning it would be a nice story and if they beat the cardinals in the ws that would be sweet irony. I hope we deal zobrist for a good return since a lot of teams are interested.

Man Tillman has really turned it around

Seemingly as Ubaldo starts to lose it lol.  At least Ubaldo stayed tough after that rough 1st inning last night.

Yeah, Ubaldo's tailspin in play so far in the second half has been weird. It was nice to see him get past that bad first inning.

I'm sort of pissed about this! Price is a stud... and yet again, other teams in the East are leaving no stone un-turned... Must be nice to actually have some financial flexibility from ownership...

Gotta do something.  We either have to sell or acquire a piece or two that can keep us in it.  Staying put is the worst decision we could make.

I'm not scared of that move unless they resign him...

Sucks seeing other teams making moves though.

O's traded for Parra. He's got the 7th best BA, having a career year by far, and is a corner OF....He's also a rental.

We traded one of our top pitching prospects for him but I'm not even mad since he probably wouldn't of been anything special here anyway...

Yup. My b haha

The more I'm reading up on him, the more I like.

I can't find this trade confirmed anywhere, but I'd love to have a high percentage, on base type of guy.

No deal yet, but the Orioles are talking about him and Revere from the Phillies an possibly trying to flip one for a pitcher.

I'd love to have Parra.  He's a solid option and much better than what we've been throwing out there in the likes of Snider/Reimold/Lough/Parmalee.

I also like the idea of Revere to have a true leadoff man.  Manny needs to be hitting in the 3 hole right now.

And then I saw it might be for Zach Davies, and I don't like that move anymore.

And I took a peak again at our top 30 prospects, and it's not a pretty sight.  Ew.

And for my last comment in a row… Bud Norris is the only dude that could come in with an insane ERA and manage to increase it even more.  He was so much fun to watch last year, but we missed our chance to get something for him, because I think anyone with a little intelligence in baseball could tell that wasn't sustainable.  He needs to be DFA'd at this point.  An ERA of 7+ is ridiculous.

I've really seen enough of Norris for this year. At least our bats woke up and made it exciting last night. Poor Miggy just hasn't been himself since the injury.

Just gave up our #3 prospect for a 2 month rental that is having a year better than he's ever had, which brings the question of whether this is an aberration and he'll come back to earth.  I can't say I like it.
