Which team do you least want to play in the AFC postseason bracket?
For me, it's the Colts. There's no other team there that I wouldn't be confident about winning the game. I know the Steelers have beaten us twice, but that is really the source of my confidence; I don't think they could beat us 3 times, especially with how close those 2 games were. As for the Titans, even with the best record in the conference, they just don't have that many weapons, and when we played them last we lost it on a blown call, and we are a MUCH better team now, I've seen no progression from them since. If anything, it's been a regression. The Dolphins are really out of their depth at this point if you ask me. The only player that can really hurt us would be Ted Ginn, because we have no one with the speed to cover him deep. Luckily, Pennington doesn't have the arm to throw to him deep. They're defense is nothing more than solid, and if we run alot of unbalanced line towards Joey Porter, they have nothing that can threaten our rhythm offensively. I like Channing Crowder, but he doesn't offer much in terms of a pass rush or pass coverage, and if he gets hit by McClain in the hole he doesn't have the bulk to bring him down.
The Chargers won 8 games, and played AFC west teams 6 times. NO ONE in the AFCW has a winning record. Clearly, they don't deserve a berth. I can't believe the amount of experts that are touting them as threats.

Colts here too.

I actuall like our playoff position. If I had to choose. This is how I would rank.

1) Dolphins
2) San Diego
3) Titans
4) Steelers
5) Colts

We play the dolphins in our first game. Plus. Second game we would have to play Tennesee. Plus two! Then we'd have to play probably the winner of Steelers/Colts.

The only thing is I'd much rather lose to the Colts than the Steelers in the AFC championship game. If we'd lost to the Steelers they'd be going to the superbowl. Vomit!

Colts all the way, the dolphins have been playing bad teams all year, the Chargers are 8-8 and shouldnt even be in the playoffs, the Titans are a team that we barely lost to and we are a lot better since then while i have seen almost no improvement from them since then, and i really dont see how we could lose to the steelers 3 times in one year the motivation to beat them would be unbelievable and we barely lost to them both times, plus big ben has a concussion so he wont be his usual self. The colts just seem to have our number every time we play them and i am afraid if we play them we will lose.

I said Indy not because they are the scariest team... just the fact that the Ravens can NEVER seem to beat them no matter what.

But the scariest is most likely Steelers with out putting that into consideration.

You're crazy if you don't vote for Indianapolis. Not once has this team shown anything against the Colts.

New season, new coach, rookie QB. Anything is possible this year. Maybe this is OUR time to beat Indy.

Manning must cast some sort of spell over our team every time we play.[/quote]

I see it more as a curse. As long as that carbon copy of Johnny Unitas is the QB for that team we won't be able to beat them.

Except that they have already massacred us this season.

yeah, that's why I'd prefer to play the Steelers. The guys will be more determined than scared.

I agree the Colts have had our number.

Curse? Play our positions on the defense and take em' on. This is going to be a great playoff and we can do it. I don't think this team will get its' do until we can beat Indy and Manning. :)

Although the colts would have been a challenge for us, I dont want to be happy that we wont get the chance to play them. I wanted to see if we did play them, if we could pay them back for the last few years.

We would not have beaten them in their building with the winner getting a trip to Tampa. No way. We win with our defense and Manning just has our defense figured out. He is the only qb in the league that just does not have a problem with our pressure. We just don't match up well with the Colts, especially on their track.

I know right. The Steelers have beat us by a combined 7 points this season. They have soooo destroyed us this year. <_<

I really like our chances of making the superbowl now. Not to over look Miami, but our 'boogie' team is gone.
