Roberts To The Chi White Sox?

I would go for this trade. Gavin is young and talented, he won 17 games last season, and he is from MD. I would also ask for another player to complete this trade. The Orioles need pitching more then anything else.

I'd do it, even though it would be sad to see Roberts go. He is such a well rounded player. If we do that trade though, we should also try to move Huff, because we'd have no chance at winning this season.

ive faced a couple of future great pitchers myself (at the college level at least maybe not major league stars)

Thats pretty cool. From what I have heard about Gavin he is a future star in the MLB.

I'd love to see a talent like gavin come here but who do we replace Brian with? Who would be the leadoff batter? Adam Jones would be a viable option, but imo he's that 2nd- or 3rd- batter position. We've wasted a year without a viable shortstop, i'd say we wait to get a solid prospect in 2nd base (unless we already have one) before we let brian go.

It matters not. One pitcher in a team full of holes will NOT put the Blo's anywhere near the postseason. I hope for Robert's sake he does go somewhere else. His talent and dedication are wasted on the horrific club he plays for now. The guy deserves to win at some point in his career.

If I were a major leaguer, I would never sign with the blo's. They could toss 500 million at me...I would never commit career suicide for a joke of a club.
