Ravens receive three comp picks

That's how I see it, I mean, it's near impossible to hit on all 10 picks. This is partly why I don't mind trading up far. I don't know if three out of those ten picks will be here in a few years.  

I have a lot of faith in our front office. I agree there will be a trade somewhere. But, I don't foresee us trading up in the first round. I suspect we'll either trade up in the 2nd or 3rd round by giving up a 5th and a 6th of this year's draft.

 

Here's how I see it playing out: We get BPA in the first. If it turns out to be a WR, great. Otherwise we trade up in round 2 to get an impact WR. The reason we may trade up in the 3rd is if a TE or a really good RB falls.

I think Agholor and Smith would be an upgrade over Torrey. I'm not trying to downplay what Torrey has done here, but those guys have high potential, especially Smith, Agholor being the guy who can contribute from day one. I'd still like to see us sign Greg Jennings.

It means we can afford to trade other picks and not worry about gutting our middle order.

 

Like how last year Ozzie went and got Eugene Monroe for a 4th and a 5th while knowing he'd be getting something close to that in comp picks anyway.
