Ravens receive three comp picks

Appears Ravens have it wrong on their team Twitter account. NFL press release says they are getting one fourth and two fifths.

not bad at all and also means ozzie can move more in the draft with the other picks.

 

also some of our comp picks worked out well in the past.

Can't complain about that haul. Definitely trade ammo there. I don't really see us using those picks to draft ten rookies.

I'm A little bit disappointed in this. I feel like we actually lost more (young) talent this year rather then last. And how did KC get the max amount with a 3rd when they release Bowe and then signed Maclin, I'm actually asking cause I am not sure how the comp picks work yet?

Those actions will affect them in next year's draft.

I'm not great at understanding what picks get you where in the draft, but if this is a good deal for us wouldn't mind seeing Ozzie trade that third and a 4th for like a 2nd and 5th to get into the early to mid second round and snag potentially two impact players right away

The picks are for players they lost in going into the 14 season, not this season.

Not really..we lost quite of few key players. Need to load up and find some talents

Unfortunately I don't think they keep all 10 picks, that is 20% of the roster being rookies. I think the ravens end up with 7 players from this draft after trades are done.

That's how I see it, I mean, it's near impossible to hit on all 10 picks. This is partly why I don't mind trading up far. I don't know if three out of those ten picks will be here in a few years.
