I'm wondering the same thing. We cut Hampton for the same; however, he had a history of questionable acts. This is really the first for Bernard.

in his defense, he was a pretty Damn helpful during the SB run. I think thats why what's happened after has been such a let down.

I think they should just cut him. Make an example of a higher draft pick not just some UDFA, besides we'll probably draft a rb and pierce would get cut after training camp if he doesn't show anything.

I wouldn't care if they cut him, 2.9 YPC in 2014 and 3.9 in 2014. Was handed the starting job and Forsett outplayed him in every aspect.

Yeah but if you think back to it now he benefited from being a change of pace back and most of his production came from either running through huge holes in the line or bouncing it outside. Running east to west works occasionally but he seems to think he is still in college because he tries to do it all the time and he isn't faster than everyone anymore like he probably was in college. Without huge holes he has absolutely no vision to run the ball inside.

He was good in Cam/Caldwells offense, but terrible when we went to the ZBS. Which is strange, because he looked like a fit in the ZBS. I don't think he really has a place on this team anyway. Cut bait

This puts the Ravens front office in an awkward position.  If they're going to be consistent w/ their disciplinary actions, Pierce should be cut like Victor Hampton.

I am getting tired of coming on here and reading about another arrest, it's getting beyond ridiculous how we had 3 arrests from 2009 to 2013 and we now have all these incidents in the past 2 years.

I don't think The Ravens should stop giving players second chances . This is Pierce first incident with the law  and I think The Ravens should atleast consider that.
