Not sure where to post this, but I lost respect for Webb and it doesn't look like his taking that pay cut

Found it.. Very poor judgment but I'm sure webb is tired of hearing hate and criticism from ravens fans

He can't control injuries and between the injuries he was one of the top CB's in the league

Not justifying that response at all.. Just a thought

A veteran posted that he was a huge fan of Webb overseas and hoped that Webb would do something to help the team out.

Webb replied by saying, "you don't have to be a fan of mine. I don't care homeboy. Take yo [butt] back overseas."

I lost respect for Webb. I don't have a problem with Webb not wanting to take a much needed pay cut if he doesn't want to, but the way he reacted was totally unnecessary

I have to agree. Most fans be taking things too far some times with their comments.How can a  person tell another person what to with their money.

Overall the veteran is saying he was a fan when he was overseas and isn't a fan now then  he suggest to Webb to do what's best for the team(financial). Honestly the veteran/person was out of line  in my opinion .

As a football player, you know you're going to get blasted by people on a regular basis. It's nothing new. You have to conduct yourself better than that

i don't know how i feel about it.... i do think it was 100% an unnecessary comment to make and unprofessional

Problem is, what is typed in the heat of the moment is out there forever and can't be taken back.  It doesn't matter if Webb was justified in being irritated by the comment, his reaction will do more to get fans riled up than issues with his cap hit.  Not easy to do in the heat of the moment, but if he'd just said something like "that's between my agent and the FO, I'm just trying to get ready to be the best player I can be for the 2015 season", he would have come out looking much better.  Problem is somebody could easily take what  Webb typed and stretch that to "Webb Tells U.S. Serviceman he hopes he doesn't return from overseas".  Imagine that headline.

I don't know but from looking at what other fans been saying on his instagram page he wasn't the first fan to suggest Webb take a pay cut and I can understand if Webb getting a little irritated by it.

He was completely disrespectful about it. I understand that he may get irritated about it, but it's not that hard to just let it go. He's under the spotlight as it's part of the job.

How anyone can defend what Webb said is beyond me. I don't think Webb is a bad guy for it, but it definitely is a bad look and professional athletes need to have thicker skin than that.

How did the veteran ask him? Webb should of handled it better plain and simple.
