Floyd vs Pacquiao

Man you're lucky you are not a ufc fan like me because that stuff happens at least 3 times a year when a dominant fighter wins that fans don't like or whatever they always call the next guy up who's meant to beat them instead of giving credit. Sugar ray has had over 180 pro fights and won most of them and over 100 kos, thats never being repeated. He has 4 wins over jake lamotta alone he was a legend. Ironically him and floyd are both detroit boys.

Yeah skip bayless is that one cheerleader you don't want, he almost makes me want to rescind my pats loyalty and fanship... almost dammit skip.

Agreed!  Robinson is pure boxing royalty!  And as for Skip Bayless, dude is a joke.  A straight up clown man!  I knew he would come on FirstStake today crying foul for Pacquaio.  Bottom line to me; like with all of his other opponents...he makes them look bad and average!

It's not just Skip, but he's the worst of a bad bunch atm. All the comments on Twitter and Facebook are just embarrassing. Why is it so difficult for people to just realise he lost to a better fighter?

Cause Floyd always embarrasses their "pubbed up" champion and as a result of that...they are bitter!  Lol..

I called it out to everyone I was watching the fight with, Manny isn't hitting Floyd.

Everyone thought Manny was going to force Floyd to fight differently, the contrast in styles etc etc.

It was boring to alot of people because Floyd was dominating as the fight went on and most people just don't like his defensive style.

Defense wins championships....see what I did there?

Manny was successful early on.  Flloyd seemed ready to fight it out up until that 3rd round (or was it 4th) hit to the face that stumbled him.  After that, Mayweather did things his way.

I fully disagree with the many people that say Floyd ran all much.  In actuality, he played Pacquiao from early on.  Taunted him into punches (like when he kept saying "nope" after 3 consecutively blocked barrages).  Mayweather backed himself into the ropes a few times to to let Manny wear himself out only to use the same swing and slide move to get out the ropes.  Floyd dominated that fight.  Fighters struggle against Boxers

Another quote from some dude that it's like Floyd is fighting against a shark and all he did is just throwing rocks at the shark from the shore and win the fight.......

Floyd is genuinely the best defensive boxer in this generation or even more.  It is boring but who says defense is the most exciting thing to watch?  Everybody likes Manning, Brady, Brees, Rodgers, and some more throwing 400+yd 4+TD per game....At the end of the day, do his team win the game?

Yep, the real issue here is how emotionally invested alot of the people were in this fight. People don't like Floyd and will try their best to discredit Floyd in anyway they can.

"Oh he ran the whole fight" really? I'm pretty sure Floyd threw more punches and LANDED more punches.

Once again, the villian won the fight, that entire arena wanted Manny to win.

Manny was NO DIFFERENT than any of the fighters before him, and that's what hurts people the most. This was their chance to finally get to Floyd and it failed

I completely agree!  They are upset cause Manny let them down just like the rest of "their" guys did....

De La Hoya...pubbed up by the masses to be the man to beat Mayweather...he lost!

Hatton...pubbed up by the masses to be the man to beat Mayweather...he lost!

Mosley...pubbed up by the masses to be the man to beat Mayweather...he lost!

Ortiz...pubbed up by the masses to be the man to beat Mayweather...he lost!

Maidana...pubbed up by the masses to be the man to beat Mayweather...he lost 2xs!

Alvarez...pubbed up by the masses to be the man to beat Mayweather...he lost!

Guerrero...pubbed up by the masses to be the man to beat Mayweather...he lost!

Cotto...pubbed up by the masses to be the man to beat Mayweather...he lost!

Pacquaio...pubbed up by the masses to be the man to beat Mayweather...he lost!

It just doesn't matter who the masses pubs up as their man...against Floyd...they lose!  48-0.
