It's finally going down! Only 5 years too late, but who cares!

I'm actually surprised this thread wasn't made yet considering it's the biggest fight in decades and is expected to generate the most revenue by far...

So who wins?

My heart is begging me to bet on Manny but when that time comes, my brain probably won't let me. Regardless on who I bet on, I hope it doesn't go the distance. I'm rooting for Manny to knock him out but that's highly doubtful. Honestly wouldn't surprise me if Floyd dominated the entire fight. I really hope that's not the case though....

I think Floyd will run, per the usual and get in some counters by slipping a few... I sure hope all of his teeth are ejected from his face, but I'm not sure it'll happen. Floyd, in all of his skills is good but his defense is outstanding. Someone got beat his body, but he's good enough with the jab to keep guys away. I do NOT think Floyd can KO Manny... Honestly, both fighters are on the tailend of their respective careers!

The only way Manny will win is by KO.  I think this will be Manny's biggest night of his life and hes going to literally go all in....he has nothing to lose while Floyd has everything to lose.  Manny will be in beast mode from round 1.

Mayweather got this!  Everyone talks about how Floyd has never faced anyone like Pacquaio BUT Pacquaio has never faced anyone like Floyd.  Mayweather is on a whole different level!  Everyone thinks they have the strategy to beat Floyd until they get in the ring with him and then he adapts and adjusts to his opponent.  I expect a good fight on May 2nd.  I'll definitely be watching!

Good luck with that, you might get Malware or Extortion ware where it could cost 200 to fix your PC.  A few Hooters in the area are charging 20 with 20 back in coupons.

I expect it to be a great fight from both guys!  However, if it is too close to call and could go either way, that's when I believe the rigging will begin as well.  The powers that be really don't want Floyd to remain undefeated and I believe that the judges will favor Pacquiao in that case.

I could see any judges' decision being a fairly dubious one, and not just because these things are subjective either. The cynic in me says that'd happen by design so both sides can set up a rematch and maybe even a third bout and rake it in a bit more.

 

Tbh I think this could well be the last great boxing fight we ever see before it slips further into obscurity. So for the promoters there'd be a lot to gain in trying to milk it.

In my experience that only tends to happen if you download anything or click the adverts, and my laptop's cheap enough that I'm not really concerned about what happens to it.

 

As it is, it only costs $50 in NZ anyway, so a few of us are probably going to get together and fork out the money there. Or try to find a bar that isn't fully packed out.
