Haloti Ngata traded to Lions

Why do you think the rotation was the game plan? Just for kicks? Part of that reason was that Ngata couldn't handle the work load anymore I'd suspect.

Bottom line, whether you want to admit it or not, we didn't miss a beat for his 4 game suspension with 2 rookies plugging in. I seriously doubt that would have been the case if he was the beast you claim.

Clearly he wanted top dollar. Clearly he is about Ngata and not about the team in any fashion.

I've seen others restructure, take pay cuts, take extensions, to help their team and remain there. So, thanks Ngata, but it isn't all about you man. Good luck in Detroit where you discover what it's like to play without a team around you.

Every team uses a rotation. DL is one of the most tiring positions on the field. They need to be constantly rotated to keep them up to speed. Otherwise, in the second half a good OL would start really kicking almost every team's DL around. Also, we have young talent. Gotta get those guys some PT as well. Ngata could more than handle the work load, but any coach worth his salt knows that only a complete idiot would leave any DL out for the whole game. It's the reason why Ozzie likes to keep some many talent DLmen on the team. You need them.

I'll miss the guy. I still think it was the right and honestly only move but it doesn't mean I'm glad he's gone.

My only ravens jersey was a ngata one. But I still think it was the right move for all parties involved.

He was rotated out more often in 2014 than in prior years though.

Regardless, there is a difference between being glad he's gone and understanding that Ngata did this to himself. He backed the team into a corner and knew full well what it would mean so no, I don't have any sympathy for him even if I would be happier if he was still here.

And I guess we're just not even mentioning the PEDs huh? How much of his performance came from that usage? We don't know.

I guarantee you most the league is on something. i'd wager mostly HGH. You can talk about being "freaks of nature" all you want, but at some point, it's just not possible without PEDs. NFL drug test is also very, very poor for HGH. That being said, I doubt Haloti is one of those guys. He has always been huge (see rugby pics from his high school days) and he doesn't look like he has the typical result of steroid or HGH use on him. I fully believe it was adderall.

I'll quote: "While the two sides battle over the details, one NFL player says HGH use is going up. An NFC starter told Tyler Dunne of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel on Tuesday that he believes 10 to 15 players on each NFL team use the banned substance.

"It's like clockwork nowadays," the player said. "Not tested and it's easy to get. Nowadays, dude? In 2013? (Expletive) yeah. I'm just being real."
