how do you think Joe Flacco and Johnny U would have gotten along

Unitas died on the first anniversary of 9/11 at the age of 69. he would have been 82 years old today. Johnny U used to come to many of the ravens games and he really identified with Chris Redman who also played at Louisville but did not play very long for the ravens.

it seems like Joe's and Johnny U's personality are the same. they are both low key and all about winning versus hype and statistics. i bet you they would have been close if Johnny U were alive today. it seems like joe respects the guys that have played. he seemed to have more respect for gary kubiac then the other OC's that haven't had the success that kubiak had as a player and coach.

i'd like to see joe lace up some black high-tops for one of our games.

Flacco is so mellow and quiet I think his father even called him " borring " at 1 point so I think he could get along with just about anyone. I think Flacco would just sit back and take in everything Unitas was saying and try to learn from the guy. Just my opinion

They would've been chills. And to get Flacco in the "rah-rah" mode, he would have told him to say "Talks cheaps, let's go play" while being on the field for the coin toss. :banana1:

I think Johnny U would have had a lot of respect for Joe's toughness and most likely an appreciation for his dry humor, as well. Those two would have absolutely clicked.
