I'm still ridiculously confident... Have you ever watched the Baltimore Ravens play? The defense is not good against scripted plays on opening drives, period. Flacco/Cam were moving the ball effectively.

Our were moving the ball at will on our first drive, just McClain needs to hold on to the ball with two hands when he gets to a pile.

I hate my work computer. Every time I refresh this page or go to click something, it creates a delay with my Slingbox stream from home.

So, I'll probably be participating less than I normally would in this thread, since every refresh is another second or two of action I miss. :(

My point is, that everyone thought this would be an easy win. Is it? No!!
I half-disagree. Even though I agree that Ozzie Newsome builds every squad for the future, this game is still important enough to be considered a must-win, given the obvious implications to our season if we lose.

But that aside, I get what you're saying; this season, we weren't expected to do anything, and now that we've done more than expected, we've really got nothing to lose at this point.
My point was that we're not in a position where we must win now in order to attract potential free agents and/or capitalize on a rapidly aging team.

Wow... McClain will be fine, sure it was costly but he will make up for it... I dont doubt the TRAIN!

Ah, gotcha. Forgot about the free agency angle that a lot of people had mentioned this past week.

We've heard the guys on defense say countless times that they need to be punched in the mouth before they truly wake up and start playing. A few 10+ yarders will get the boys amped up. First drives are NOT indicative of how a game will play out.

You know, I like Zibby down there returning kicks. His good return last time set up them for a squib kick.

Agreed.

Let's not talk about next week or Tampa or anything beyond what's going on within this game.
