Jarret Johnson retiring...

Missed out on a ring with us by one year.  IMO one of the most underrated draft picks Ozzie has ever made - played in 184 of a possible 192 games during his career.

One of the most under rated players in Ravens history, hope he gets in the ring of honor, he was a true raven in every aspect of the meaning.

As much as I was an advocate for letting him go, he was one of my favorite Ravens. He plays the game the way it was meant to be played, and we've missed his physicality at times since we let him go.

Even though it had to happen and it was completely expected, I was sad to see him go.  He's one of those players that is a true embodiment of what it means to be a Raven.

Good for him.   Hopefully he is retiring fully healthy.   He was one of my favorite players as well.  Enjoy your time off I-95.  You earned it.

He finished his career with 505 total tackles, 25.5 sacks, 3 INTs, 11 [profanity deleted], and had Ravens record 129 consecutive starts.

Okay what am I missing here ?

Forced fumbles. Abbreviated, it becomes something the filter catches.

It would be cool to see him come back and do some Ravens TV and/or radio. He always did a great job on his Monday morning radio spot on 98 Rock. Definitely one of the Good Guys.

A real Raven.  All that needs to be stated.  A compliment of the highest order for guys that played in this organization.

Had a ridiculous number of consecutive starts.  That's what I'll remember the most about him - 4th round pick but he fought for a starting spot and then kept it for almost a decade.  He started every game he could have in a Ravens uniform except 1.

*salute*

JJ has to be one of my favorite Ravens ever. I remember listening to him on 98 Rock, and he seemed like a really cool dude. He'll forever be remembered to me as one of the most underrated/under appreciated Ravens. Wish him the best.

Congrats. on a solid, excellent career J.J. Hard work, skill, and an exceptional player. Solid, reliable and under rated come to mind also, but real Raven will always be how I remember you. Good luck on the next faze of your life!  :190048:

One of the most underrated players to have played.  Work never showed up in the box score, but his run stuffing set the tone for the great defenses Baltimore has had.

I got to meet him when I was stationed out in San Diego when he signed with them. He end a good friend of my captains, we all went out for drinks, pretty damn good time. I have a pic somewhere
