Other than the market is strong for DT's

 

His Cap Hit is large, but how much do you free up?  You really gonna cover all the holes at WR, Secondary and Running Back with it? And at what expense to the Defensive line?

 

Suh is a done deal and the fact is Ngata is likely worth as much or more than Big Ray at this juncture. You know as Andre Johnson said, why is it always, "Play your contract out, don't ask for more money" or "You've declined take a pay cut or we'll cut you".  It's not Ngatas fault the Ravens find themselves in a tight spot.  It could get a heckuva lot tighter with the wrong move though.

 

That's the bottom line.  He's worth his salary, its not his fault how the contract was loaded.

It all comes down to Ozzie! Worth it? yes, but want to be the Ravens?  I guess we'll both see. Thanks for your thoughts, I don't know either!  Oh, yeah I am a Raven for life! Proud to have you with me!!

Apparently the Seahawks are giving up Unger and multiple picks, so it'd probably be too rich for the Ravens taste, and plus, Ngata carries an $8.5M cap hit for his new team, so the Saints wouldn't be saving that much if they got Ngata, if any at all with the picks
