So im going to be putting together a "go bag" for when/if crap hits the fan, i lost my other setup when i moved down here to Florida.  Gotta start with a nice bag, i already have a Lifestraw and ordered some everstryk matches for a small start.  Im just very curious if any of you guys have a go bag, if so....share what ya have, pics would be cool too

I dunno, storms are one thing and war-torn countries have a more immediate threat. Though at the same time, what someone else does to prepare for anything is their own business. All I can really say is that I've never given it a thought and I don't know anyone else who has.

And, of course, when I say only in America there's an implied friendly nudge. Like when I say you guys are weird for using the Imperial system.

For what it's worth - my daughter has a full-blown kit ready. Our boat is pretty close, too. We have a good chance of surviving initial disaster, whatever that may be.

From elementary shool we were brainwashed with how great we are. I remember the teachers preparing us under our desks for a Nuke attack.   When Romney appeared people really thought he was the Anti Christ.  There are a few who actually think the Kardasians are relevant.
