Da Browns

Browns will not win a playoff game 5 to 10 years from now. But they might make a few to lose them all in the 1st round. But they might go to their 1st Super Bowl in about 20 years from now.

When is the last time CLE gave a coach 5 years?

Biggest issue with the browns is turnover, both coaching and QBs

Its literally the same thing every year with them. Draft a QB or RB, suck.

I dont see this draft being any different. They need to just fire everybody or something.

But I agree, they are the last team I see winning a championship next year. well most years. At least they play close games with AFC north teams to try to be competitive.

Firing everybody is why they perpetually suck. They give them 2 years to turn around their lake fire. New GM/coach. Starts rebuilding. Oh. 2 years. Start over.

Laugh at their misery. I love it.

What they need is a new owner. The Owner is cheap. Just like remember Irsays Colts? Bon Irsay was so cheap he wouldn't put a real team on the field. He puts a bunch of cheap rookies on the field. Look at Jim Irsay,,He's nothing like his dad. The reason why the Colts win today than back in the 80s is because Jim Irsay spends his money. Let me give you an example. When Peyton Manning was drafted he became a great QB. Within 4 years when Peyton became a free agent Jim Irsay gave him Millions in his contract. You think Bob Irsay would do that? No way he would. Thats where the Browns are. They wont spend money on free agents. Look they have room to spend in their cap but they wont spend. Look at the Ravens done in off season. They done an excellent job getting free agents like Mike Wallace and Benjamin Watson. Now they have a very dangerous offensive unit. Similar what our O's did with their Bats. When have the Browns done in off season? Umm Absolutely nothing! Thats why they're going to continue to lose. And here another thing i don't understand about the Browns. How come the fans continue to support those cheapskates? At Least Baltimore fans are smart. They know a gimmick when they see one. Thats why O's don't fill those empty seats simply our fans know something. Sure they spend big bucks on hitters. But they didn't spend anything on pitching. thats why they don't have 30,000 season ticket holders unlike the Dodgers and the Red Sox do.  Last Year Ravens have their first losing season. And Still fans came out and watched them. Baltimore has never had a local TV blackout since 1983 thats when the Colts were here. So our fans know something than Cleveland fans do. Even LeBron James said he was going back to Miami after this season and still the Cavs fans continue to support them.

Robert Griffin III's free agent tour has continued in Cleveland.

The Browns hosted RG3 on a visit Saturday, a person with knowledge of the situation told USA TODAY Sports.

The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the Browns hadn't announced the visit, which was first reported by FoxSports.com.

Travis Benjamin when asked if it was a hard decision to leave Cleveland: "Not at all". Then he was quoted as saying he wanted to play with a better Quarterback, and according to Terry Pluto of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, "a lot of the Browns' free agents wanted a new team".

Joey Bosa's brother was apparently wearing Titans gear at OSU's Pro Day.

I think it's safe to say the Browns have sunk so low that they are fell past Rock Bottom.

Perfect fit if you think about it.

I would love to face him twice a year.

Yup, the hard-hitting AFCN is the "perfect" division for a QB, who struggles with injuries.

I'm sure Timmy Jernigan and Z. Smith share your sentiment.

The Browns are now making phone calls to those close to RG3 to find out more about him, specifically about his character. Guess the interest in him is legit if they are doing this.

It's looking like a RG3 deal could be completed this week and that would open the door to Josh McCown possibly be traded.

Continue to hear a mounting buzz about the Browns intent to sign RG3. Wouldn't be surprised at all if that came together this week

If Browns land RG3 there'd be outside interest in Josh McCown. DEN, CLE, LA possible. Signing him wouldn't take CLE out of QB draft market

Be a big mistake to get rid of McCown. At this point of his career he probally doesn't mind mentoring as long as he gets a paycheck.

Remember this game? More Browns screw ups

To be fair...how was that their screw up?  Urban (I think) just got a great push, made the block, Hill made a great play.  Wouldn't really say that was a "screw up"

Apparently the Jets are interested in McCown so maybe something happens there.

I wonder if a RG3 deal gets done tomorrow or Saturday.

These are pros. They practice every day on situations. theres no excuse he missed that field goal. Remember the Steelers vs Colts. I can see why Manning was so pissed on that day

RG had one more chance to turn his career around and he chooses the Browns smh... I thought Hue Jackon might be able to help them, but I guess you can't fix stupid.

RG3 is offically a Brown now. He sprained his wrist signing his new contract, though. :P

Would the QBs in the draft helped any? Goff has a noodle arm (not a good idea in the AFCN) and Wentz is a big gamble with the 2nd overall pick, imho. Griffin was a promising prospect once and Hue is a great QB coach. RGknee and Josh Gordon could be good together, if they end up drafting Ezekiel Elliott to take some pressure of Robbie, they might have a chance for a decent offense. Just, draft a QB in the later rounds as a backup. :P

All I'm saying is, they had worse plans to sure up that offense. I can atleast see the logic in this move. It's still better than drafting Manziel. -_- But, that's like saying the phrase "still better lovestory than Twilight", which applies on pretty much ANY lovestory. The only way is up people! :D
