If this is true, forget a line 1. His career is dead or.....flatline.

I didn't think his career would pan out in the NFL, but I never thought it would go up in flames this badly.

In the Fort Worth police report, Colleen Crowley tells police that #Browns Manziel struck her several times and seemed to be on drugs

Apparently, he will not be charged with anything.

Gee, I wonder why the Fort Worth Police didn't charge him.... Can't ruin his chances of being signed by the Cowboys right?

I think, if anything, a charge would have enhanced his chances of being signed by the Cowboys.

Well he said he wants to play for Dallas. Well theres no chance he will start. He will have to wait ether Romo gets hurt or he retires.

I'm not sure how much of this is true but if it is, Manziel needs to leave the NFL and get his life straight. From Rotoworld:

According to ABC Dallas, Johnny Manziel allegedly told his ex-girlfriend Colleen Crowley to "shut up or I'll kill us both."

Per the report, Crowley thought Manziel was "on drugs or maybe having a psychotic break." There are numerous disturbing allegations of abuse, from Manziel hitting Crowley multiple times to forcing her into a car against her will. He allegedly threatened to kill himself multiple times. Crowley has sought a protective order against the quarterback. Manziel's life has clearly spiraled out of control. He won't be in the league next season. For what it's worth, Manziel has "bluntly" denied the allegations to TMZ.

You know your career is down the drain when your agent dumps you and wants nothing to do with you.

Manziel has now lost his agent.

Manziel's father, Paul, told the newspaper that the Cleveland Browns quarterback has refused to enter area rehab facilities twice in the past week. He said the family tried to get Manziel, 23, to enter a local addiction facility on Saturday, but Manziel refused to stay. Paul Manziel said he tried to have his son admitted to a psychiatric and chemical dependency hospital on Tuesday, but Manziel was allowed to leave, despite his father telling officers that he believed Manziel was suicidal.  "I truly believe if they can't get him help, he won't live to see his 24th birthday," Paul Manziel told the paper.

When your father makes a public statement like the one above, you know he has some serious issues.

Oh he had plenty of red flags prior to him being drafted.  But in all fairness, it was about his attitude and not any dependency issues.

OH MY GAWD!! LMAO!!!

Browns cut Johnny Manziel, officially an unemployed loser

The Browns on Friday waived troubled quarterback Johnny Manziel. Finally.

It is the latest in a series of low points in the disappointing and often embarrassing career of Manziel, whose two years in Cleveland represented more of an audition to get on the “Jerry Springer Show’’ than an attempt to prove himself as an NFL quarterback.

ADVERTISING

Manziel, after a highlight-film collegiate career at Texas A&M that made him the 22nd overall pick in the 2014 draft, entered the league with a lot of fanfare and the hope in Cleveland that he would help inject life into the perennially moribund Browns.

On Friday, he left with little fanfare, being mocked by Cleveland-area bars advertising “Say Bye to Johnny” specials.

Because of his litany of off-the-field problems and the fact that he wasn’t very good on the field, either, Manziel’s NFL future is murky at best. If he clears waivers, which is a virtual certainty, Manziel can choose where he wants to play — if any team wants to take a chance on him.

More like Carson Wentz. LOL!!

A two-year starter who went 20-3 for the Bison, Wentz thrived in North Dakota State's wide-open offense, taking snaps from under center and shotgun with several pro-style reads, including left-to-right and high-to-low progressions. Although he didn't consistently face top competition at the FCS level, Wentz performed well in high pressure situations, including the 2014 and 2015 FCS national championship games.

Wentz played in the 2015 title game after returning from a broken wrist sustained in October and claimed the Most Outstanding Player award in both championship games he started and won.

While he missed eight games due to injury as a senior, he had a streak of 143 consecutive passes without an interception and looked healthy in January where he returned to the starting lineup to lead NDSU to a fifth consecutive FCS championship.

I wonder if there is any validity to the Kap. rumor, and if there is if it will have any legs.

No I just threw it out there with the recent off field news. I'm not rooting for the Browns to improve. Never will. The more of an embarrassment they are the better.

They are a mess. A lot of talk from agents that they were being really slow in negotiations. Lost a lot of players as well and I think they had plenty of cap room to sign guys

Agreed. I like the Browns fan that comes here because he's classy but I don't like the Browns.

+35

Who would ever root for a divisional rival to improve anyways?
