Ridiculous. "Factory of Sadness" rings so true

Yeah, they finally look like they might be getting it together and this happens.

And that's before you look at how the Cavs are going.

And Jordan Cameron wants out and he is a free agent. He has a history of concussions but that might mean he would come cheap. He would be an excellent pickup if Pitta's career is over.

I actually feel pretty bad for their fans.  They're a dedicated and loyal bunch, they deserve better.

And it's not just football where they've suffered eternal misery. Look at the Cavs now that LBJ's prime years appear to be done (or close to it), the proud history of the Indians and that NHL side they had for like three seasons.

Really? I've always strongly disliked Browns fans over the interweb.

I know every fan base has rotten eggs and it's not fair to generalize but I've seen countless experiences where they're on par with Patriot/49ers fans as far as embarrassingly classless.

Seems to me GM Ray Farmer who well it won't matter if he gets suspended but it didn't seem he was too worried about the WR position as he talked more about improving the OL.

"I know everyone says I'm stubborn or I'm going to be abstinent about this wide receiver position but I just think that, at the end of the day, an offensive line affects every single play of the game. A wide receiver may touch the ball 10 times if he's having a great day so I just like the idea of let's get the guys that affect the game all the time and let's try and get those guys and make a difference for our football team." - Ray Farmer, Browns GM

If it's any consolation, OSU won the National Championship. :P

I would have except these are the bunch of people using journalists to lobby to keep Art Modell out of the HOF. I no longer carry any sympathy for them.

Karma can be cruel. As far as I'm concerned, that is what they're receiving.

Agreed, I still can't forget that Browns' fan with the "incident" on Modell's grave...it will take me a long time to put that one aside, if I EVER can.

The Browns' management continues to make the ultimate drafting mistake by letting desperation rule their draft choices.  Rather than building a solid foundation from the inside out, they try to "hit" on a few skill players by falling for the media hype around players, at the costs of ignoring their due diligence on character issues, in the hopes of making an immediate impact for the team.

That is not how you build a winning franchise, imho.  All that glitters is not gold. lol  Manziel and Gordon would speak to that drafting philosophy and it didn't pan out at all.  I would have to question the judgment of their scouting department and front office if I was a Browns' fan.

You have to try to be as inept as the Browns management is. This is disguating. Browns fans should get a 1 year pass to choose a new team of their choice, without being labeled as bandwagons, because as someone else stated, they are way too loyal to this franchise. Why the hell would you be trying to send in play calls anyway? Are Farmer or the owner avid madden players? To break the rules, on something this stupid, hurts my head trying to fathom.

That can be said about any fan base.  I'm sure there are some Ravens fans that would embarrass us by their actions.

I refuse to paint all their fans with a wide brush.   You have good ones and bad ones in every fan base, Ravens included.

I'm with you on this.

I'm also kind of sick of this "class" debate. EVERY organization is going to have someone questionable on their roster.

With that said, as long as the team mates get along, for the most part, I don't care what people do off the field as long as they are there on Sunday playing. I'm not here to judge their character, but their ability on the football field.

Yeah, anytime you put 60 professional athletes in a room you are going to have some bad actors. But I think what is separating pats, browns, falcons, etc., are the purposeful transgressions by owners and coaches to gain competitive advantage. I'm hopeful that the Ravens haven't been/won't stoop to such classless acts.

I don't feel bad for them at all. I will always remember how everyone painted the browns fans as the best fans in the nfl and how they deserved a team when the team moved to Baltimore, who had to watch places like Jacksonville get a team. It was absolutely sickening. The first year the ravens went to Cleveland it was all about how that game was their Super Bowl. Well these "best fans" in the nfl were disguised as empty seats before halftime while they were getting blown out. I love that game. And I love seeing Cleveland stay as a joke. The bigger the embarrassment they are the better.

More Browns news....... apparently one GM is upset that Cleveland essentially has access to Marcus Mariota at a time before any other team can. To summarize, the Browns plan to hire Kevin O'Connell as their QBs coach, and O'Connell is working with Mariota preparing him for the draft. Of course the rule is no team can have any contact with a prospect until the combine.

Of course since the Browns haven't hired him yet. Technically he isn't breaking any rules and neither are the Browns, nothing to worry about yet but maybe later. Like say if the NFL investigates it and finds say texts, possible phone calls that prove they spoke to Mariota before the Combine from Browns' higher ups, etc. Of course it's all moot if a team like Tennessee takes him at 2 or Philly moves up to get him ahead of Cleveland.

The Browns have enough issues as Farmer has admitted texting during the game.

WOW, Browns updated logo sure has me pumped and excited about the change. (he says facetiously)

Paul Brown really struck out with the Bengals and Browns color schemes. They are god-awful.

Browns still don't have a logo. A picture of your helmet / a color are not a logo. Just make it a bulldog, c'mon.

Brown face masks, whopdee doo. I still remember when Cleveland came to Ravens Stadium the first time, some of the fans burned our teams bandanna on the concourse during half time.

Well we can now add Johnny Manziel to the Pick 22 QB club in Cleveland. I of course mean the QB busts they have drafted at pick 22. First there was Brady Quinn, then Brandon Weeden, now Manziel. According to Tony Grassi, Manziel has been "a fish out of water" during OTAs and at times being described as horrid. Things like not knowing where to go with the football, running out of the pocket too much, and it is likely Josh McCown goes unchallenged for the starting job and starting week one.

With the first pick of the 2016 NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns select...........
