I did make a couple trades(including getting Eli which is big granted with my current QB situation I needed to get someone(anyone lol)) but primarily I am keeping most of my talent with me. 

Yeah, Grim and I have been discussing a few different trades but the idea is to make tweaks more than anything - swapping Webb for DJ Hayden and Jeremy Lane, for example.

 

Don't want to overthink this game I reckon.

I thought it might be but I thought I might as well explain my rationale as it was a big move too. Probably wouldn't make it in real life as Eli is too old but for the purposes of this game I like it.

 

And after some of the dumb moves today I don't know if I know a joke from a serious post at this point lol

My overall goal is to keep the core together this year.  I have a very strong group in SF.  Just need to add a few pieces and I'll be good.  Big reason why all I've added is depth so far.  I've had the opportunity to grab some big names but ultimately said no because I don't think reconstructing an already good team is the way to go.

I think there are some teams out there who are benefiting greatly from the trades though(Truth for one) so if you are good that is the way to go. I just don't know if I have the time or am good enough to go that route yet. Guess a bit of luck is involved as well lol

Looking at some of them I agree. Mine were over the top. But I blew draft picks cause I believe this draft class just flat out blows haha. I don't think even at Ngata's age I can get a better DT in the second round etc. I needed to improve me defense.

What do you have on offer? The rule with these games is that you need someone good enough to convince another GM to part with a high pick. Not to sound patronising btw, but it's the kind of thing to start looking at with these trades.
