Thank you.

Collusion.

And I pretty much agree with that sentiment, since I think owners should be allowed to manage their teams as they see fit (basically just like fantasy football).

The only long-term problem is that when owners of teams see that trades like that are being made, in my experience, it lowers the overall integrity and "realism" with the league itself, and eventually, it just dies off on its own.

Thank you

The Saints are interested in adding players at the following positions.  PM me if you have a player you are willing to give up:

RB

C (any OL really)

DT

DE

ILB

OLB

Correct, I am new.

I probably should have asked more questions before I joined...

You never trade a young stud Dlinemen for an aging center who's average. That's not  moneyball. Now trading the player for picks to build a team would be more reasonable. But still

Nobody's giving me picks. I've asked for them.

(I probably should watch moneyball if I'm gonna quote\reference it though)

Average is being quite kind.

I'd look at it this way...

Dareus is probably one of the three best defensive lineman in all of football, and he has a cap number under $10M.

He is the definition of untouchable in my opinion...

I'll respect that lol

I mean no offense by that comment. Both trades involved two sides who were acting in what they deemed to be the best interest of their respective teams. They had an opinion of the value of the players involved and they acted on it. I'd understand if we had a scenario where two teams were colluding, but neither was the case, which is why the first trade stood and so should the second.

Average should be good enoght with my trio

I'm sorry man. I mean he is below average. Dare us is easily top 5 in the league at his position and young. There's just zero logic here whatsoever.

Based on the week that I've been in this league, from what I can tell, its basically just to see how many trades you can make and how exponentially different you can make a team look in one offseason.

Hence why I said my money is on a lot of the teams making a lot of moves actually being worse on paper when its all said and done...

I reckon it pays to wait for the whole offseason to play out. There seems to be a few sides focusing on hanging on to their existing talent.

That would be the camp that I'm in...

Yeah. Well my cap situation is bad rn. But all I need is two MLBs and a RT. All in which I can acquire in the draft. All in all though the run defense is improved and I prefer Marshall to Cobb.

Also, Marshall with Rodgers absolutely terrifies me haha

I did make a couple trades(including getting Eli which is big granted with my current QB situation I needed to get someone(anyone lol)) but primarily I am keeping most of my talent with me.

Eli sucks....

What you really need is a safety.....

Polamalu can be had

Eh better than what else is out there, especially any rookies outside the top 2. For the #10 pick and a second in return, that isn't bad as long as I can work with the cap.

Lol did you see that awful tackle attempt by him this year? I forget which game it was but wow what is bad. He is done and I don't have the cap to make such a dumb move in the first place.

I was a joke, I believe. Could be mistaken though.
