I really like Daniels. He's got a lot of potential and he can be a great player. Packers fans like him as well. He stepped up big time in the playoffs. That's a nice add for the Broncos. More importantly, I think Wade Phillips would really like his addition.

Daniels was a worthy sacrifice imo. Great player, but I figured getting a little younger at OLB was not a bad thing. 

 

With my given current secondary, Ware, Ngata, and Bunkley are good additions.

Interesting decision by Grim to tag McPhee.  Not opposed to it though here as the prices can get very high in FA.

Interesting decision by Grim to tag McPhee.  Not opposed to it though here as the prices can get very high in FA.

His versatility and capability was too much to pass on and I feel like he could garner some interest as well. I'm not letting him go for free, because I really like McPhee a lot. He's a guy I liked from day one. 10 Stars is a lot, but I have plans already for CB. I've already addressed safety, which I felt was the biggest problem in the Ravens' secondary. I feel better communication would improve the whole thing. With Will Hill and Aaron Williams back there, I really like the group. 

 

But I'll be bargain shopping.

I liked a lot of guys but this was a problem constantly for me, too. Johnson, Fitz, Bowe, etc. are guys I want but can't afford at the moment.

I didn't want to get rid of Brees, but when you are 27 stars over the cap, a savings of 19 stars can't be ignored.  I believe he took a slight step back this season and there is going one way for him to go from there.  He has a max of a few good seasons left, but getting rid of him allows me to do so much more with the team.  If they we a SB contender, it would be a different story.
