2015 Forum Mock: Discussion Thread

I'm in another mock draft coming up on the 75th and 78th pick in the draft. I'm the Saints GM

 

I've currently drafted the following

 

Eddie Goldman (traded down and acquired a 2nd and 3rd) picked 25   (btw Devante parker was picked #24)

DJ Humphries #26

Eli Harold - 2nd round

Phillip Dorsett - #25 in 3rd round

 

Currently the top players left are in no particular order

Xavier Cooper

Henry Anderson

Lorenzo Mauldin

Derron Smith

Tre Jackson

Donovan Smith

Grady Jarrett

Josh Shaw

Djoun Smith

 

Any advice?  I'm leaning towards Tre Jackson but it's pretty close for me, I may be able to be swayed.

I'd go with the 2 best bpa. In this case it'd be Jarrett and Smith

Which Smith and also top 5 backs are off the board and Golden is available as well, however my DL is Akiem Hicks, Eddie Goldman, and Cam Jordan

Stay true to your board. Donovan Smith isn't bad for depth purposes

The time limit's eight hours. It's only UDFA, so the rules are just geared towards getting in and getting out.

With my last group of signings, I'm officially at 90 players on my roster.  I'm not out yet though, as I may cut someone to sign another player if he makes it around to me.  That being said, if I'm up and don't have my pick in within 15 minutes, put me on autoskip.

And now that I'm kinda sorta done with UDFA, I'll mention that a large majority of the guys that I picked were small school guys.  Giving that a shot this year and seeing if I hit on any of them.

I traded back to 81 and he was picked before me.  I picked Tre Jackson at 78 and am ready to go Tre Flowers with 81 in a couple picks.  It was a worthwhile trade as I picked up another early 5th round pick. 

 

I picked Derron Smith on the Ravens mock for the Skins.  Agree he's going to  be a baller.
