Question on this rule of 51 thing

 

So if I cut someone on my team who makes 0.5 stars and brings me down to 50 players I still dont get 0.5 stars added to my cap?

 

And if I sign someone in FA for 0.5 stars that means nothing happens to my cap too?

 

If you cut someone and the number of players you have goes from 51 to 50, then you ignore the rule of 51. 

 

If you are at 51 players or over and sign a player for .5 stars, there is no effect on the cap.

Also, make sure you record the total number of players that you have on your roster either on your SOF or depth chart, especially if you are over 51 players

He was woeful. Injuries did play a part, but it was a significant step back.

I definitely see him returning to form. His foot injury from 2013 was still lingering and assuming he'll be healthy in 2015, Clady's by far one of the best talents at LT, so he should have no issues keeping Ben Roethlisberger upright.

I mean no offense by that comment. Both trades involved two sides who were acting in what they deemed to be the best interest of their respective teams. They had an opinion of the value of the players involved and they acted on it. I'd understand if we had a scenario where two teams were colluding, but neither was the case, which is why the first trade stood and so should the second.

I'll say this, Truth.. Your persuasion skills are impressive. To be honest, a few years ago I told myself I wouldn't trade with you. You make incredible pitches and I was afraid I'd get screwed like I had seen many others. Let me ask this.. Are you a lawyer or a salesman? If not, unless you are making six figs.. You need to switch occupations.

Question: I currently have more than 51 players under contract, that means any player I add via ERFA and trade that only cost 0.5 Stars shouldn't count against my cap due to the Rule of 51, right?

With the addition of Robertson, I should be set at ILB next to Brian Cushing.  Between Robertson and Wilhoite, I should be covered at the second ILB spot in my 3-4 defense.  Cushing's injury history means having a good backup is essential and Robertson and Wilhoite combined for 27 starts last season.
