I don't see how cocky are players are. I've been checking out this Dolphins forum this week, and I've seen more garbage on there then any other team we've played. Trashing Ray for what he was acquitted for years ago. Not all the fans on there are bad, but it's pretty nasty there.

Dude today at like 12 there were over 17,000 members on finheaven, your gonna see a ton of trash talk but a majority of the regulars that were on there every week until the playoffs are more modest and think it'll be a closer game.

Thats nothing new.. Its the playoffs, Its pretty much like playing our beloved and hated Rivals, the steelers. They are scared of there team having to face Ray Lewis.. arguably and aggreed by most to be the greatest LB of all times. The ONLY bad thing they can think to say against Him is the fact of the crap happening back then, something that never amounted to nothing because there was not a single thing that could have been pointed to Lewis for.
I look at it as a complentment, there scared to face Ray Lewis, end of story! Dont Be Scurrred Phin fans, step up to get knocked down.

I think you are looking at the wrong numbers. There is probably 17000 members signed up at the site with maybe 1500 active. We prefer quality rather then quantity.

There's so many things wrong with that statement. The only person that I think is in Ray's league is Derrick Brooks from the Buccs. So underrated.

Yea I believe ya.. oh wait lets take a look, Ray Lewis comes to the Ravens and there Number ONE in almost EVERY single defensive Cat. for the past 10 years, what does the Phins have to show for it? Okay so the Ravens organazation is better at drafting on the defensive side of the ball.. maybe.. Or we can go along with what everybody else knows, Ray Lewis is the greatest Leader, and has the talant to back it up..

I'm just saying i'd rather have a smart player who does just as much as a athletic freak like Lewis. Zach Thomas uses his smarts to make a play, Lewis relies on his speed and power, something Zach did not have but yet put up similar numbers. Looks like i've hit the hot spot!!

What is not accurate? Thomas has more tackles,more forced fumbles and more TD's....how about for once i'd like to see a ravens fan actually give me a stats or a reason as to why they are right instead of saying it's a joke...

I'll take the greatest leader, who pushed His team to almost every single number one spot in almost every single defensive Cat. the past 10 years, call me crazy. Thats not being Biased towards Ray who happens to be on my Favorite team. I'll never take anything away from Zach, I'll even go as far to say He probally was a smarter player. Ray Lewis had to watch Film and still does Hours and Hours to be the greatest, Maybe Thomas diddnt? No he didn't push them, it's called having talent. ok maybe he encouraged them but it wasn't like he was on the 2001 Pats with a bunch of no names, he was surrounded by fellow first round drafted players. I would love to see proof that Thomas has ever asked Lewis for advice. If anything Lewis should ask advice from Thomas on how to act classy, that's right i said it. I have heard Peyton Manning call him the smartest and said he hates playing against Thomas the most, which Manning is a top 10 greatest of all time qb.

How about passes defensed.how about INTS? how about Sacks? How about getting 200 tackles in 2000 when there was 10 other guys who was some of the best, 3 other LB's that made one of the best ever LB corps. Thomas did alot of it on His own because there was no one else, Lewis had to fight alot of stingy defenders to get His stats.. 28 INTS to Thomas's 17

How about the Last couple of years, as Thomas is slowing down Lewis is still going strong, Lets take a look at this years stats.. Nah you dont want too, Thomas lacks big time.

While you say it was hard for Lewis to get those stats i could argue it was easier as he was doubled less due to more talent around him making it easier for him. Yes he's slowing down he's also 2 years older, Lewis was drafted younger. In thier prime i'd still take Thomas.

Now your being Full of it, Lets put it like this, you can have Thomas as your greatest ever and we will keep Ray. As I have said, I wont downgrade a good player, even Steelers players, I'll give them that honor, but facts and being Biased are not the same and dont add up. Just like most Ravens fans here take away from Ryan being the better rookie ove Flacco, I give Him credit where its due, but to call Thomas over Lewis as the greatest is way off my ship and 98% of any football fan for that matter.

Proof is in the interviews of players, you wont hear alot of guys say, "they have Zach Thomas on there team,we gotta play smart" But anytime someone talks about the Ravens that what they talk about, Ray Lewis and our defnese.
Maybe because Marino Is still talked about too much I guess?

A leader is "a person who influences a group of people towards the achievement of a goal". You want your leader of your defense (your mlb) to be your leader. He needs to make those around him better. He needs to lead by example in ability, determination, and passion. Putting up stats is fine and dandy and even commendable but give me any day the mlb who picks his team up and leads them to VICTORY which the ravens have done and zach thomas hasnt even come close to doing

Doubled on what? when He was Blitzing? Okay take way His sacks explain the other stats.. Thomas is smarter, He should have more piks, and more passes defensed. But wait you say He has more TD's, yea His smarts got Him 2 more TDS.. Be for real, Thomas is good, Lewis is good, Lewis just has everyone backing Him as one of if not the greatest ever. Lewis also has the better stats to show for it.
